We know Bungie will eventually come out with a great game for us to get our hands on, but until then, what would you like to see more or less of in Reach? What ideas would you incorporate? I've heard a huge range of conjectures from squad based gameplay to the more traditional CE style of play. Everything aside, here's your chance for your input on what you'd like to see. Post away.

Here’s what Luke had to say about the differences in treatment between the Spartans and Elites in Reach:

“Instead of piece-by-piece customization like the Spartans, Elite customization is a full model swap with models selected from the various Elite classes appearing throughout the Campaign. There are all kinds of reasons for this, not the least of which is our continued emphasis on the Spartan as your identity in Reach.”

Bungie is really good at releasing just enough information to keep people interested.

Remember the campaign for GOW2? Major hype fest full of lies and exaggeration.

The best part about Bungie's method is that there is plenty of information for those who look close enough to find it.

Wouldn't that be what you would've said about Halo 2 versus Halo 3? And maybe for you that turned out to be true, but not for most people. Most people sound like you now, and complain later because their expectations are elevated by advertising.

I have no idea what Reach's gameplay will be like. I really want it to be different than what we've been playing in Halo for the past eight years. Something different. While still being fun and decidedly Halo-appropriate.

I think I'd like to have Halo: Reach as something along the lines of Halo 2, of course with better graphics and more options, but Halo 2 had a sense of hopelessness incorporated into the game, like you were fighting a losing battle, and it seems to fit perfectly for Halo: Reach.

I loved the Atmosphere in Halo 2. The environments, the music, and the action just worked for me.

I did, and I think it had a very fun multiplayer. The mechanics were very solid and all the weapons were balanced.
