So, I was looking through the OXM Article again and apparently, Christian Allen, the dude from Red Storm and had his own Podcast appearance in 2008, was the lead designer on Halo: Reach.
However, he left Bungie about 7 months ago.
As OXM so aptly points, a change in lead designer usually means in a radical change in the overall design of the game.
So what say you? I'm firstly surprised that Christian Allen left. I mean, he seemed so happy during his two podcast appearances. I thought he seemed to fit the Bungie culture perfectly. And, Christian Allen was from Red Storm, people behind Ghost Recon. If Christian Allen was behind Halo: Reach, I can only guess that it was supposed to be a Squad based shooter. Finally, a Halo squad based shooter.
But if he has indeed left... and if he indeed was the lead designer on Halo: Reach, do you think the design of the project has changed?
