Subject: Weapon lowering in Halo: Reach

For the past few years the Halo title has been very big on machinima, like Red Vs Blue, Pre-Game Lobby, Arby n' the Chief, etc. But when Halo 3 was released, it changed Halo machinima forever. Only available in local or system link gametypes were you able to lower your weapon, no longer on XBL like in Halo 2. This made it very difficult for some machinima directors/producers to make machinima because everyone would have their guns pointing in each others faces while their talking, forcing them to play on a local or sytem link gametype to lower their weapons. Some say that Bungie did this because of fear of "cheating" and to prevent any cheating from going world-wide. First of all, to lower your gun, you must hold in LB, RB, A, press in on the anolog stick, and down on the D pad to lower your weapon on Halo 3. This combo takes 3 to 5 seconds to work making the player completely open to fire (if it was on XBL). So it's somewhat silly to keep this off of XBL because no one would dare try that in the middle of combat. And if I'm correct Bungie would most likely have a theater option in Reach because it made Halo 3 different and a prefered game for montages and machinima. So please make weapon lowering available in Halo: Reach. Thanks for reading!

there's honestly no reason why bungie would not allow us to do it on the XBL.... so let's hope they let us.

Well I don't know if they think people will try to exploit it for glitches or something... I'd say put it in customs and, if possible glitches could make it bad, keep it out of matchmaking.
