PsychoSangheili

If it were so easy.

I think it's possible for Keyes to be running around somewhere in Reach.

They act all big and tough when their on camera with their friends and their guns. But when you break into their house in the middle of the night and stick a gun barrel in their face. They cry like babies and and piss their pants.

No, he's on the Pillar of Autumn with master chief, or did you forget all of Halo CE?

Did you forget the end of reach could very well lead up to the beginnig of CE?

I'd like to see him again. Especially since he was fleshed out so much in the books.

ISU Cyclones!

Keyes was at the Battle of Reach. He was fighting in space the whole time, obviously, but I wouldn't be suprised if he played a role in the game's plot.

In the days of old, there were legends of a land long lost to time. This land was known as Ranna'Mor. Ranna'Mor was said to contain in its borders 7 warriors. These warriors had once unleashed a veritable hell upon the ancient world, until they were locked away. My name is Toriad, and I am one of those warriors. Our return is approaching. Do not run away, do not cower in fear; take solace in your final days, for that is all we can do. -Legend of Ranna'Mor

I would think you'd at least hear from Keyes in the game, if not see him. But I don't think he'll have a very big role.

What?
Keyes was on the Pillar of autumn when the covenant attacked, he later recovered the master chief from his mission on the orbital platform. Then they slip spaced and stumbled upon the halo, and during the ensuing events Keyes was killed. I fail to see how he could be in Reach, unless he is just a very minor character.

No one said Halo: reach was 100% Reach.

Hell, THE FALL OF REACH was barely one third of reach!

Yes, no one said it's 100% Reach, but it is heavily implied. To start, the title. Why would it be called Halo: Reach, if it wasn't about Reach? Plus, the tag line for the game "From the beginning, you know the end." This is reference to the battle of Reach and the eventual fall and glassing of the planet.

Same can be said for the book.

The book takes place on Reach for the better part of the story, and is called the fall of reach because the Reach's destruction is the climax of the book.

Halo 3: ODST has Halo in it because the title of the series is halo. Why is Halo: Cole Protocole start with Halo? Why do any of the books? Because that's the name of the series.

You're right. But my point still remains. Keyes is in The fall of reach. Why is is so far fetched for him to be in reach?

I could see him being in a beginning cutscene like in Cheehwawas thread but as a main character I doubt it.

Dont underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Maybe or you could fight in zero gravity combat like in the orbital platform.
