Should Bungie implement these new features into their highly expected Halo Reach?

Hand to hand combat: In the Halo books, the spartans have been very skilled in the art of hand to hand combat. Wouldn't it be great if Bungie let us charge at Elites and get into fist fights and arm locks with them? We can use the d-pad to make hits in a precise way to make it like a little minigame. In some cases, the finisher in these fist fights will be stab of a combat knife. Losing these fights will be the complete loss of your shields (if Mark V is in the game) or death depending on the difficulty.

Spartan allies: I don't know about you guys, but I have always wanted to fight with some spartans in Halo. If one spartan (master chief) is so badass in Halo, imagine a small squad of them in hostile missions. Differentiate the campaign by giving us different allies each mission (if we have any).

Competent AIs: I hate fighting with a bunch of retarded cockroaches and fighting against them too. Wouldn't it be nice if Bungie revamped the AIs to make them slightly smarter, especially our allies. The Arbiter in Halo 3 was about as efficient in taking out brutes as my five year old cousin is...blindfolded.

Sprinting: What I have never understood in the Halo games is the fact that we cannot sprint, even for a short time. I'd like a button we can hold down (like the right analog or left analog stick) that allows our spartans to sprint for up to ten seconds. During the sprint, jumps are higher, turns are sharper, we cannot shoot our weapons, throw gernades or deploy any cover. While sprinting, we should take our weapon and place it on our back.

Spartan switching: I'd like to be able to switch which spartan I am (or have the campaign select different spartans for respective missions). Allow us to play two or three spartans in the game for various missions which would be best done by them. No spartan switching during missions though. Give each spartan special bonuses. For example, Linda could have a much easier time sniping, Kelly would sprint faster, and Fred would do better in hand-to-hand combat.

Commands and Strategic Missions: I'd like it if Bungie would make various campaign missions in Reach a little strategic. Alongside this, I'd like the ability to command my comrades in battle, whether they be spartans or marines. If I have spartans, I'd like to be able to have them go to certain positions, or supply covering fire. If I have marines, I can divide the squad in half and command each half separately, or just command them individually. Don't make the game centered around this idea like Rainbow Six Vegas 2, but have them there as something we'd like to use for some situations. Likewise, don't make it useless if it is implemented.

Please vote and share your thoughts about my ideas. I might be adding more ideas as I remember and think of more. Please reply after voting, especially if you choose the third option in the poll, thanks.

It would probably just be defensive and offensive jabs based on button commands popping up on the screen for the final jab or stab and just jabs and blocks for the main hand-to-hand face off. Obviously I'm not a developer, but there's a general idea.
