So do I.

Something similar to Steam's game search would work. Where it's a big list

You obviously don't know how hard that would be. Think about how many people use Matchmaking, as soon as they put that feature in everyone's gonna desert Matchmaking and go to custom games only, seeing all the the severs in the world would take 10 minutes.

i think people would still play matchmaking, i know i would.

especialy if bungie made the rank system really competitive like in halo 2.

with the cool looking numbers and all.

its just that i want to play games like 8v8 one flag on last resort.

but that never comes up in matchmaking.

i got it ONCE in halo 2 on zanzibar and it rocked.

Yes but there are other problems with a Custom game lobby and server system. The Xbox 360 has 512Mb of RAM, my PC has 4Gb of it and it take age to find all the servers on Steam, if that's the case on my PC I'd hate to see something like that on the Xbox.

Your computer has 4 Gb?

Look at the context I put it in.

That looks like 4Gb of RAM which if I'm not mistaken is memory. So you're saying your computer has 4gb of RAM.

(I just have to put this out there cause I'm getting bad vibes. I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything. Okay?)

You know, never mind I don't care

It's OK, I'm a but of a techy so I expect people to know what I'm talking about, but yes it is RAM or "memory" that I'm talking about and the Xbox doesn't have alot of it.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

It would be nice to at least be able to search for open co-op games.

to bad it doesn't matter how much ram you have in this case. The loading ons Steam is about your internet.

Why not just make it so when you search for custom it only shows a page unless you refresh the thing then it shows a full page of different ones... pretty easy solution

  • 08.25.2009 4:07 PM PDT

I don't see the point of this. Custom Games were designed to be private-matches with friends that you play with, not a thing where ANY random a**hole can come in my forge game and screw everything over.

Corn, Oil, and Wine... We need more wine...

With this right here, they would have to make it optional...

Ex. Open to public, Open to recent players, Open to friends, Invite only.
