Once on youtube I was watching this and I thought "It would be cool if in halo reach,if you could play in third person view, but some people would prefer first person,so if when you paused the game, you could alternate between 3rd person view and 1st person view, that would make the game really cool. In 3rd person, the controls would be like MGS4:Hold LB to aim and RT to shoot.LT to change grenades.Hold LB and RB to briefly look in FPV.All other controlls would be the same as Halo's default controls.

maybe, but why? i think halo is good cause is FPS, imagine that you are walking behind an opponent in MLG, and you are going to kill him from behind, he will find out with his 3rd person perspective

Well i get what your saying but assassinations are quick and fast, and there would be little room in your 3pv cam so you wouldnt really have a chance to stop a person behind you;like Fpv.And youd be able to see that on the radar.

This kid's 14th in Europe. Don't even bother calling me bad.

What about looking around corners/over obstacles?

Ok,good point..........Ive just edited my post.It now also says you can hold LB and RB to briefly look in Fpv while you hold it;that way you could look around corners(or in 3pv you could always use the right thumbstick to move camera angle to see around corners).

3rd person would just screw up halo sooo much......lets just leave 1st person and 3rd person games to themselves not add them

No. This is a first person shooter. Adding such a camera angle gives no static definition to the gameplay - why should one person have an advantage over another just because he chooses a view that allows him to see more of his surroundings?
