The reason being that everyone liked Halo 1 story line is the fact is what a game totally out of this world. Something out of the blue. It was truly an amazing game, and the whole futuristic fighting and vehicles and action. When Halo 2 came out, for those who have played it, it didnt seem all that great, you have Master Chief fighting against the convenant (Good vs. Evil) then they threw in the Covenant story line. Which is Conventant trying to kill the rebels of the Great Journey! (Evil vs Evil) Then you get to the point of them meeting up with Flood which is outragesly ridiculous when the Humans should of encountered them first. (Evil vs. Nuetral) Then they all meet up towards the end, to find out its a Secret Alliance among them all. Machines vs. Flood vs. Conventant vs. Humans vs. Rebels. Machines are distguished along with the Flood. So then there are only 3 left. And the rebels, gain more members for the Arbriter, finds out the plan of the Covenant so then the fight takes it to Good & Evil vs. The Greater Evil. Too complex. Halo 1 was bout us humans kicking the aliens ass. As in Halo 2, saying in lamen terms, Humans vs. Coventant to find out that the Coventant are having a civil war and not all of them are evil. As too say, we steped into someone elses territory we are going to get it. But to make it look like there is a good side to the Evil. Very stupid. They spend way too much time on the making of the campaign to screw it up. My brother has been playing Halo 2 since it came out, and hasn't even touched campaign, and then there are the players that never even played Halo 1 at all. But to make state somethings clear, in the event they make Halo 3. It better be a a good storly line cause they left you hanging at the end of Halo 2. More on the humans, no1 cares bout coventant, they are garbage, and we will -blam!- them for we are the greater species, and they are bout as good as toilet paper for whipping my butt!
