Elite Zealots, or "Gold Elites". It's a good idea to get rid of them as quickly as possible whenever you see one.

I'll hold the rope..... and the camera. 'Cause I'm a multitasker like that.

As agile as a cougar on a young man.

Ok, if you say so boss!

Wildcard Machinima!

The Gold Elite raped me with his big, shiney sword! crying face!

The Flood infected forms are also annoying on Legendary. Was playing the Maw on legendary today, and kept getting killed in this little room when my shields ran out and the little guys rushed me.

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Gold Elites. Your only hope is to backpedal and pour out ammo.

The Jackal major ,and the Zealot with the Plasma Rifle.

The jackals are incredibly brutal at close to mid range, and the zealots with PR are annoying at mid to long range.

The sword elites are not really that deadly, however, they can kill allies pretty quickly.

The Spec Ops Elites at the end of Keyes & middle of Maw are pretty rough. Plus they'll act like a regular Elite and strafe. Or throw grenades. I find them the toughest to kill, after Guilty Spark.

  • 08.25.2009 6:53 PM PDT

I'd say Spec Ops Elites in Keyes and The Maw, and then Elite Zealots.

E4web

Spec-Op Elites, then the Spec-Op Grunts.

Anybody else spend an exeess of an hour tring to make it out of the end of Keyes alive with three Spec-Op squads of fuel-rod wielding Grunts, grenade throwing Elites and a tidal wave of Flood chasing them?

Good times, good times.

I didn't try that, but I always, always, time it so that the Flood and Covenant attack each other in the Control Room.

Spelling doesn't count past 3 AM.
Some guy made this for me

Sounds like a bunch of Justin Bieber wannabes in here. I bet you all wear skinny jeans too.

The Elite Zealots are simply one stick away from death, so I'm not horribly afraid of them.
What I am afraid of, however, is the fact of me being unable to see a squad of Elites while they corner me.

Invisible Elites for sure.

Owners of the Katana: A place for those who have a Katana or over 1000GS in Halo 3.

Somewhere out there... in an alternate reality... Marty decided to stay in the ad jingle business, bringing about an age of amazingly orchestrated Pampers commercials.

The Grunts. They throw grenades like 'it's going out of style'.

Trigger Grunt door and immediately run to back corner, perhaps...

Can you believe it?

The Spec Ops elites and Spec OPs grunts. The elites throw a lot of grenades and the grunts have those fuel rod cannon that can easily kill you if you're not paying attention to them and focusing on taking out the elites first. They're also not afraid to fire them at close range.

Gold Elites. Anything short of 2 rockets to the face is the equivalent of flicking peas at The Truth and Reconciliation.

  • 09.01.2009 11:33 PM PDT

Success is just going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm.

I know what you mean, even on normal, they can withstand a headshot and keep coming.
But I would have to say spec ops elites and grunts, they make the last few levels harder than it should be

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

I'm going to have to say Zealot Elites.

  • 09.02.2009 7:59 PM PDT

I've noticed you move more slowly while backpedaling. Add a raging gold-armoured Zealot with an energy sword and you have a critical scenario on your hands.

The grunt.Got me from behind, that little sneak! :{

Spec ops Elites. On the Maw their ability to hurl stickies is both annoying and highly dangeroous.

  • 09.04.2009 10:12 PM PDT

The Zealots, definitely (followed by the Spec-Ops Grunts).
