if you see a sensors image (on the bridge) that compares halo to the Planet threshold and its moon, Basis, you will see that the ring is much smaller than the planet's moon! This doesnt really give too much insite since the planet IS a gas giant. But it still is pretty small.

Halo is 10,000 KM in diameter, so that makes it approximately 314,159 KM in circumference...which is pretty big considering Earth is approximately 30,000 miles=60,000KM?, so about 5 times the size of Earth is pretty big.

its bigger around but in comparison there is only a rather slim chunk of land all around, so although it seems massive its really about the exact size of earth (Alot of numbers and such, and since I don't care much for math, im just estimating based on looks.)
