I'd like to be half-man half-tree in an octopus' garden in the shade.

I hate it when I accidentally betray someone in Halo 3, then I'm instantly booted. How about before the option to boot comes up, a short, 3-6 second video of what happened comes up on your screen. You could easily tell the difference between an accidental or purposeful betrayal if this was to be implemented. In Halo 3, many times I don't even realize how I was betrayed, let alone whether or not it was an accident or not. I don't see how this could impact matchmaking negatively, so why not?

You can't kill what's dead.

Stand. Fight. Resist. S2F.

So sort of like the Call of Duty 4 killcam, but for betrayals only?

...I actually like that ALOT.

Warning: You may find that my, or someone else's opinion does not comply with yours. Side effects of disagreement may include (but are not limited to): flaming, irrational behavior, broken keyboards, and/or nervous sweats. If you experience any of these symptoms refrain from communicating with others until the symptoms have subsided.

Yeah, that would work out great.

Terrific idea, except for about 4 seconds the person would be standing still doing nothing, but its obviously worth it over losing a good teammate.

There is already a system in place kind of. Normally after three betrayals you get the boot option. If you betray frequently, then it is less. In Halo 2 I remember getting the boot option even if my teammate killed me but it did not say betrayal. That being said, I like your idea. And he would not have to stand still, the video would show during the respawn period.

No, the video would show during respawn.

Nice idea. I'd like to see it.
