Which is exactly why I, and plenty of other people still enjoy Halo: CE LANs more than we do Halo 3. Actually having to think tactically on maps like Hang 'Em High, or Boarding Action instead of "Oh, the Sniper Rifle spawned, let me just jump three football fields down to grab it instead of weighing the possibility of losing all my shields and having someone blast me in the face.". Halo 3 seems to encourage a whole new level of being at the right place at the right time.
Heck, in my opinion more often than not they seem more fast paced than Halo 3 ever did. Health and slow recharging energy shields were never as issue seeing as movement speed was quicker and it wasn't almost guarunteed you were going to get a headshot off with Halo: CE's pistol thanks to small hitboxes.
