Revolver, sorry but please stop. You're bumping AND you sound like a four year old.
How about this:
Scene starts:looking into faceplate of spartan (very close, so that at first its hard to tell what you're looking at), camera slowly pans out to see more spartans standing in the hold of a pelican, then continues to pan out the back window of said pelican. The exterior is shown aflame with plasma strikes and the heat of atmospheric reentry, as the camera continues to pan out we see a flight of seraphs fly past the camera after the pelican. Two of them explode as a longsword flies left to right across the camera, through their formation; half of the remaining seraphs peel off after the longsword. Camera switches to a far away view of said pelican (and seraphs) as the remaining continue to bombard the pelican until they score a hit on the cockpit, causing the pelican to tumble out of the sky. Moments later, 30 or so large objects tumble out of the side of the burning wreck, as the camera zooms in on the pelican (showing the objects to be the spartans). Camera cuts to a view below the spartans as one of them falls directly into the camera, screen cuts to the Halo: Reach logo against a black screen.
The entire time this scene is happening, there is military chatter for the audio, but NO sound effects until the camera first switches to the faraway view, when they get into the atmosphere (reentry punctuated by a sonic boom, then sound of plasma and wind).
The military chatter would be between the pelican pilot, the longsword pilot, and Fred.
