Do you think we would be able to play as spartan I s the halo novels never really covered anything on that. they just barley mentioned them also in places we didn't know from books where spartan I s on Reach during the Battle of Reach?

Spartan 1s had large exo-skeleton mech suites. Ordinary marines used them to safely train the spartan 2s post augmentations.

In Fall of Reach, it explains that the exoskeletons were too bulky and had to be connected to a power source. Thats why Halsey created the MJOLNIR IV from the ground up, to be much more responsive in combat and not so cumbersome. So using these exoskeletons in Reach would be kinda dumb.

yea i geuss so. but i want more explination on spartan I project. i know the book said it was a failure, and described the armor they used. but nothing really on the project, like what they did with spartan I s. i.e. any augumentations?
