I personally don't see that Halo 3 was "dumbed down" for more casual gamers. I'd be interested to know why you think that.
increased auto aim,
All that means is that you have to use strategy. You DO know what strategy is, right?
a vastly larger selection of CQB weapons
Again, strategy. For this situation, try NOT charging straight at your opponent like a crazed lunatic.
the addition of the br spread
Oh noes! Realistic bullet physics. That's not dumbing down anything. That is increasing the realism of the physics in the game. The same thing happened with grenades and other weapons.
easier to rank up in as opposed to halo 2
Trueskill, which is mandated by MS, works better. So it is easier to rank up in. At least for a while, until you get past the middle ranks. A bell curve in skill makes far more sense then an exponential decay like you got in Halo 2.
shotguns in team snipers
Shotty Snipers was introduced in Halo 2. Also, strategy once again. STAY AWAY with your Sniper, noob.
equipment thrown in to save ppl who are about to get out bred
You can also use equipment offensively. It adds strategy. Apparently, your brain is so small that you can't handle more strategy than "shoot that guy". Not Bungie's fault.
your post is so fail im confused where to start. im on top of this game as far as skill and ranks, your in no position to call me bad. you havent even gotten one 50 yet and your actually talking smack to me? gtfo bad brig in nowhere did i say i disliked those things cuz they get me killed. i just dont like that element of the game. i think this game needs to exhibit a larger skill gap, like halo 2, but that cant happen with the focus taken off the br, and with the br spread adding a random factor to your br shots. its no longer ALL skill
