In Halo: Reach, assuming the multiplayer and custom games remain relatively intact, then I think this ideal will be beneficial.
You know how you can set the kill limit to up to 250, then go down from there? 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, etc. Same goes for flag caps, bomb armings, ball time, and hill time. There are set amounts that you need to win. How about just typing in a number within the limit, and that can be the amount needed to win? For instance, capturing 6 flags, arming 4 bombs, getting 123 seconds in the hill/ball.
The same goes for shield recharge rate, damage, grenade count at respawn, and the speed/gravity of player. This will allow for the ultimate fine tuning of game types.
