I haven't been following much this past week, but I hear we have some new ODST conquerors. Gratz gentlemen!
Would someone care to post a chronologically correct list so I can update the OP?
:-)*Sees the chance* Uh yeah, for starters, put me on number one, Tyrant!
And I didn't have a lot of trouble when they did the Drone-Hunter strategy against me, sure it's -blam!- how one Hunter waits for you while the Drones are hiding. But I've found a tricky way to just lure the Hunter inside your spawn room. Inside, it's trapped. So are you though. But only the Hunter can hurt you now, so do the ol' melee strategy to take it down.
Not to mention the fact that you have a lot of Rockets on Crater, only hard part is to go down there and pick it up, which I do after Bonus rounds or Chieftain rounds.
I tried luring them into the spawn room, it's just a little bit too small for me, I need more space.
@ above post: I have a different strategy for each Covenant, but most of it is pretty straightforward. I play the entire game in the spawn area, never moving past the stairs except to laser Wraiths inbetween rounds.
Grunts: Headshot
Jackals (Shields) (No Mythic skull): Magnum shoot hand, follow up with headshot
Jackals (Shields) (Mythic skull): Back away from them, headshot them while they're running at you.
Jackals (Shields) (Blackeye, low health): Overcharge plasma pistol, beatdown, headshot.
Jackal (Snipers): Headshot
Drone Minors: SMG
Drone Leaders: SMG (No Mythic skull), Carbines, Needlers (If desperate)
Hunters: Rockets, Fuel Rod Guns, only melee if necessary.
Brutes: PP + Headshot, quick beatdown/assassination if necessary. Sticky grenades when out of PP ammo.
Hammer Chieftains: Sidestep + assassination
FRG Chieftains: Let them see me, hide behind the corner, wait for them to come within a few feet, overcharge PP (if available), outmelee/assassination.
By doing all this, I had 14 lives going into set 8.
From what I've seen so far, Mythic ODST is significantly easier than Mythic Halo 3, with the exception of Coastal Highway, but it appears that the guys here have found ways around it.
