Well, I found a solution. I'm currently at Kikowani Station. I'll simply start a new game with all Skulls on and use the save and quit method when I die. Then when I have completed all flashbacks from the beginning(by cheating), not counting Kikowani, I'll lastly do Kikowani station. On Mythic this time of course. If I die, I won't quit so the save will screw up. Then when it's done, Data Hive door will trigger so I'll do that part, then Data Hive, then Coastal Highway.
Sounds good eh? Tell me it's worth to just spend a couple of hours on that so I'll be the first one to have completed Halo 3: ODST on Mythic including Mombasa Streets.
I also have everything on film but I'll probably just upload the night segments and post the flashback mission here as stats. Since the Flashback missiond don't need film for proof...right?
I don't know if that will work. Well, sort of. I think I understand what you're going for and it looks like it will work. Of course then you still need to all the trips in between as well as the individual missions correctly (scoring on, films).
Edit: I did some testing (with Blind off) about the Save & Quit stuff. In Halo 3, if you did a Save & Quit, scoring turned off and had to be turned back on (and thus erasing your progress).
In ODST, however...scoring stays on even if you Save & Quit...but it resets your score to 0 as well as your time. I don't know if the game stats will point anything in particular out, but this is particular proof that films should still be required.
Edit 2: Looks like Gazas' idea works for getting segments of Mombasa Streets, so long as you don't die during them...
On the topic of the game, I've noticed that the Sniper Rifle is a lot more effective against Chieftains in ODST than it was in Halo 3 while playing on Mythic. In Halo 3, it takes a full clip to kill a Chieftain (3 to remove their helmet, 1 for the headshot). In ODST, it takes two shots (one for the helmet, one for the headshot). Just something to keep in mind on NMPD HQ.
