When the Scarab asplodes, be sure to be either at one of the med pack stations or between the stairs and the wall right near it. I was at the medpack in the video, but wanted to clarify just in case.

I can't emphasise this more. As soon as the core goes critical run like hell and get behind the stairs or put your back against the wall (stairs are better due to blocking any unpredictable debris the physics engine may launch your way) because when the Scarab explodes, it does so with enough force to repulse you off the edge of the map very easily, especially when coupled with any of the detonations caused by the nearby rechage stations (if they weren't destroyed already).

I am having a lot of trouble killing the Scarab, every time when I come out of the last little corridor thing, it kills me before I get to the banshee. I landed on it the first time but fell off (a fail, I know) since then I havent had the chance to take it down. Tips on how to get to that banshee or how to doudge its plasma fire?

What happened to the banshee you should have before entering the closed area? You should backtrack and grab that one so you dont have to fight for one. Also, to make the chieftan easier, place your banshee a few feet from the door and go inside until the chieftan begins to chase you. He will follow you til you get back in your banshee and will then simply run into a corner outside for you and the phantom to shoot at. Be warned, if he is close enough he will try to stick you when you enter your banshee.

Sorry, but I think we are both thinking about two different parts.

I know which part you're talking about. You're at the part with the scarab and before you fight the scarab, you have to open the locked down area to get the phantom through. You should still have the banshee left from before you enter the locked down area and should retreive that one instead of going after the ones in the scarab area.

The rest of what I said was just a tip for making killing that chieftan you fight easier.

Watch my video. I skip the Chieftain fight entirely.

My tips for getting to one are as follows;

A) Don't run sideways and look at the Scarab. Just run. You'll go faster.
B) Instead of grabbing the Banshee on the left, try for the one on the right if you repeatedly can't get to the one I used. The advantage of using the one I used was that if the Banshee is between you and the Scarab, it won't shoot at you :-)

Its the explosive box thing. The Scarab shoots it and it kills me every time. I shot it so then the Scarab couldn't use it to kill me but then the Scarab shot me any way. lol. About 80 mins put into this level.

Try running closer to the ledge and maybe jumping up and down.

Then don't bother going for it, backtrack to the Banshee you used to get to the previous area. Or you could wait for the Phantom to come and the Scarab will focus its attention on the Phantom, then you're free to go.

Unless you skipped that part somehow so there won't be any backtracking nor a Phantom to distract the Scarab for you.

I always go left lol. Probably something to do with being left handed, going right just feels vulnerable and more likely to fail.

Maybe. Heh. Although I feel more comfortable fighting enemies on the inner side of my right hand rather than the outer side. I.E. more comfortable fighting enemies on my left. =)

It would probably work going left that time too, the Scarab shoots you anyway.

Probably because without Blind your weapon obscures your view to the right.

The Banshee on the left doesn't have any enemies guarding it either...

Far left you mean, since the one closest to your left is guarded. Although I wouldn't try going for that one. :P

Any way, I looked around when going for the bansee and I was being chased by a Hammer Cheiften, I just ran and jumped into the Banshee just as he swung at me. lol.

Odd. All of my Banshees were heavily guarded. Maybe it has something to do with skipping the Chieftain?
