just something i was thinking about but what if halo reach had AIs in multiplayer? like in GW2. if some1 leaves and AL would take thier spot and 2 make it fair that perosn skill in the plalist/highest skill/average skill would be the skill of the AI so if the guy was a 50 then the AL would play like a 50 etc. also wat if bigteam had AIs? so instead of 8v8 it was 12v12 or 16v16? and make truely epic battles. this could only be in certan playlists so ppl that dont what 2 fight bots dont have 2 i mean it would just add 2 that fun i guess, also they could be in custom. well post away ppl

Yea, I think Reach should have bots. If you lost your Internet for some -blam! reason, you could still enjoy the beauty of Multiplayer.

Do you know how long and time consuming it is to program AI? Its one thing for campaign, but quite another for multiplayer. Any bot, especially for a "3d" game like Halo 3, would be absolutely terrible. GOW can perhaps get away with it since its a "2d" game (by this I mean you can't jump, which makes it easier to design paths for computers to use in the game), but bots in Halo would not be able to compete with any competent human player. They wouldn't even make a good warmup.I sure as heck don't want an idiot for a team mate replacing anyone who quits out of my game.
007 Nightfire from last gen had bots and they where awesome, I think that if a player quits he should immediately be replaced by a bot.

Firefight.I am pretty sure Bungie said bots can't be added because of forge. Maybe they could make it so bots are only available on default maps. But I don't think we will see them at all.
if they dont have bots in there already we are not getting thembut i think that bots, a survival mode(i.e horde, firefight) and a map editor should be standard features on all console shooters. [Edited on 08.28.2009 2:15 PM PDT]
