I had a thought about how natal could be used in halo reach that may be worth exploring. Rather than using natal for the campaign or multiplayer where i believe it would be too slow and hard to use maybe Natal could be used in forge. Menu's could be motion controled and the placement and movement of objects in the 3D enviroment could be done with your hands. Making a grabbing motion too pick up objects (Natal can sense a trigger finger movement) and moving your hands to rotate them and place them in the enviroment. This may work more freely and fluently than using the analogue sticks and triggers for object movent and may get people who dont like forging with the pad (because its kinda awkward) to forge with thier hands.

If Natal is effective as the new Wii Motion+, then hell yes. Has anyone seen how accurate that is now? It's mad.

Great idea - using your arms is far more accurate than thumbs. Well, it is for me anyway.

Warning: You may find that my, or someone else's opinion does not comply with yours. Side effects of disagreement may include (but are not limited to): flaming, irrational behavior, broken keyboards, and/or nervous sweats. If you experience any of these symptoms refrain from communicating with others until the symptoms have subsided.

I think that may make it a lot more inaccurate. I don't see the point in that...

My first thought when I had this idea was accuracy and as reports from E3 and Gamescom have been very good and Microsoft themselves have said that It can sense the movement of a trigger finger I believe that Natal could be accurate enough to make this idea viable.

i know but they also make a glitch for a reason dumbo

/facepalm

you dont MAKE a glitch, genius

this would actually be a pretty good idea if they could get it to work and work well
it would make me feel like in one of those high tech movies where they move holograms and stuff around with their hands, like in the iron man movie haha

I dont know exactly what to call it, but it has something to do with spaggetti, duct tape and razor blades...

-GamerTag- CopSuicide (used to be Weedpot420)

This a great idea. Of coarse you should be able to toggle it in case you need a little more acuracy placing something. Great original idea(unless Bungie already thought of that...).

This is the only use of Natal in a Halo game I can think of that actually sounds good and could work. :)

Pointless. I think it would just end up being incredibly awkward. Am I the only one that thinks Natal is complete crap and just a way for Microsoft to get more money?
