Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

Mark V..
Might see Mark IV, too.

PEANUT-BUTTER SLAP!

Given the timeline for Reach, mark V would make the most sense.

yeah, just finished the book, and they wore mark v. but we may see the mark iv in early levels, seeing as how the mark v didn't have shields at that point. so it was more like mark iv. no mater what, it'll be cool.

Because Muslims surgically implant organic bombs in their testicles, which in turn will be injected into women during sex, which will grow into BABY BOMBS!

MK V always had shields. MK IV never had shields. If you're refering to the MK IV in Halo Wars which did have shields, that was purely for gameplay reasons and not canon.

if you had read the book, you would know that it didn't always have shields. and i never said it was going to always be in mark iv. it was just a reference point to having no shields! i want the odst health system. it was cool. and i want the shields to go into stamina and then health.

The strongest Rivals are also the strongest allies.

S.P.I armour would be awesome.

If somebody's opinion is being smashed and nobody's helping, I try and help. I use logic and extensive vocabulary (and sometimes self-destructive circular reasoning) to confuse my enemies into submission. Fear me, trolling, fapping creatures of the night. For I. Am your worst nightmare.

Well if I suspect correctly, we could be seeing Mk IV and Mk v. Because Bungie said it should follow the toryline of the book FoR. And FoR starts off with the M IV armor. But the Spartans dont get their Mk V armor till the middle of the book.

I've read all of the books and yes the MK V always had sheilds. MK IV was what the Spartans had before the battle of Reach and it had no shields. On the 29th of August, a day before the Battle of Reach the Spartans got MK V which did have shields.

well, the way i remember it, they originaly wore mark V mjohliner powered assault armor. minus the shields. i could be mistaken, so i think i'll go and re-read that passage.
