Previously I have only made LAN parties with two xbox's. I want to try having three or four, but what type of cables do you need? The specific xbox ones or do normal ethernet cables work as well? And how would you connect them all?

Use regular ethernet cables and a router

One ethernet cable going from each Xbox into the router? So you'd need four or three, depending on the number of boxes.

You could use a hub instead of a router. The hub should be cheaper, I got mine for $40.

Connect them with ethernet cables to a router. Thats what I do.
