As George Carlin put it -- words can be fine in one context and awful in another.

Prick your Finger - Fine
Finger your Prick - Not so good.

Same 3 words, but one is a lot more offensive than the other!

Hahahahahahahahahaha

I think the end of this convo is this.

The Mods have made it clear that anything can be used as a derogatory term. How do we know that the word 'I' doesn't extremly offend a kid somewhere?

Your all Shisnos anyway, [for you Red vs Blue fans].

Case closed I'm thinking.

Is it not another derogatory word that is used to hurt someone else. I'm not -blam!- but i know some people who are, (didn't know until they told me) and they are really cool (One of the girls is also hot) Why doesn't bungie block the word -blam!-? After all the only context it is used in these forums in is derogatory. And yes i know that girls aren't -blam!- they are... well you know what they are but it means the same thing.

its not because its in the dictonary

-blam!- means to be happy if u see bad meaning in the word ur rpobly dirty minded so erm shut up ur probly one of the ppl that caused great shows like jackass and dirty sanchez to be banned/censored get a life

yoo•zel- ('yoo-zhul): slang: vb.

Officium quod Fidelitas.

I think in the most recent Webster’s Dictionary series, ‘-blam!-’ has also had a slang meaning added to the original definition. I’m not totally sure about that, I may be wrong, seeing how my dictionaries are all ancient…

Then again, people could use ghey, which supposedly takes out the implied preference.

Yeah. But they only use ghey because they don't want to be accused of being anti- homo-blam!-.

I think that words in recent dictionaries have now had slang put in, so that may well be the case with '-blam!-'

at least if -blam!- was blocked then people who spelled it -blam!- would stand out and maybe they would change their mind and use words like stupid or dumb, then again these forums are full of 10 year old kids who think their funny so i guess it is hopeless *sighs* o well

-blam!- (was) used as another word for "happy" or "silly".
And because "-blam!- people" tend to be happy all the time
I think thats how they got the name "-blam!-".
any way I don't see anything wrong about saying -blam!-,
but if bungie get allot of people complaining i'm sure they will change it.
till then looks like your the only one worried about it...

P.S. a mod should delet that double post.

From the back of the bus today:
HEY SHAYNE! You're -blam!-!
Shayne, my -blam!--blam!- friend (not that way) at the front of the bus:
Yes, well at least I can admit it. One day you'll know how I feel.

Well administered, and the tryhard looked sad because the 40+ people laughed. Even the old people.

Well the fact -blam!- is only slang for homo-blam!- might have something to do with it.
The meaning for the word is happy.
Ever hear the Flintstones theme song? We'll have a -blam!- old time!!!
