I completely agree.

All they do is stand there, only moving to the side every so often. The jetpack brutes are just more annoying than anything else.

I'm so glad we're going back to Elites in Reach (as Brutes weren't recruited into the covenant at the time of Reach).

Atleast Elites had intelligence of hiding, taking cover, moving a lot, and of course they had their signature "WORT WORT WORT!"
While I do agree that Sangheili were far more rewarding foes to fight, I will not agree that Brutes weren't recruited. They were the first Covenant members to actually talk to the humans (read Halo: Contact Harvest).

But yes, I do so prefer fighting Sangheili because they actually put up a challenge.

If they bring Brutes back to accompany Elites in Reach they better not flinch when you punch them... once you got up close if they didn't have a gravity hammer they were dead...

Well...We are talking about this in the context of the Halo games where you were playing as master chief so your opinions will probably change once you find out what its like to fight a brute as an ODST instead of a 7 foot tall super soldier. Eh?

My honor student can beat up your honor student.

They suck in Halo3 because without the elites being evil we needed an easy to kill common enemy... and the brutes filled that niche.

you are a good translator
Idiot can be a hard language to learn, but once you get it down, everything becomes so clear! The whole world will make sense to you.

Brutes need to look like this.

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

Big Team Battle Multiflag/Slayer on Standoff/Valhalla/Sandtrap/Avalanche = Win

I agree, but if you buff up their AI, change their appearance to look a lot more menancing, and bring them back with the Elites as enemies, I think they a very good, varied foe to fight against. They should definitely be stronger. Like...two melees from them kills you. And they should run MUCH faster. And they should really loose the mohawk...

Im pretty sure one melee kills you if your playing true halo and not that easy crap.

Some people never see the light till It shines though bullet holes.

Vote for the most underated weapon

group to talk about halo reach with no spam

I liked how in halo 2 on legendary or heroic that when an elite hit you once you were koed.

And also the white security elites because if you hit them once in the side and they lived you they would then go bezerk and pull an energy sword out.
