You guys noticed this? well, i dont remember where i saw it, but ill find it again. some of these are obviously hints as to what to expect in halo 2. if you read through the source it hints to a virus. maybe a virus infecting cortana? or maybe the virus = the flood. just an interesting thought in the bees. Waht if they're refering to us? Imagine how many people are going to be playing halo 2......... btw, the code that looks like java isnt java, it does look like debug from a linux app, but im still searchin code on my box to find something that looks like htat.

Makes some sense.
So ant farm made the trailer, but ant farm doesn't exist.
Whoever is behind this didn't hide thier tracks well enough then. That, or they wanted to have a leaky faucet.

We're going to find out that the Convenant are real, and this game is a true story. They're going to invade us at the end of that countdown. Just watch...I'm going to that armor site and I'm buying some spartan armor..I'll have to find some frags and plasmas on the way...along with the guns and stuff...o_o...ok...I'll stop talkin...

"The Seventh Column will rise to power."

The above phrase, as quoted from the ilovebees.com website, is a direct link to this very site:

It is my personal belief that one or more fanfics from The Seventh Column were used as the filler on ilovebees.com

Check out their portfolio....I'm not saying this is the right site, but they've done work on film websites, and they do interactive media stuff.

Given that the Halo 2 movie trailer was mostly old footage re-edited with a new ending tacked on, they might be the culprits.

Warning: you need Flash to view it.

Subject: My theory, Possible Non-Linear Gameplay
  • gamertag:
  • user homepage:
  • last post: 01.01.0001 12:00 AM PDT

First, quit using this blessing from Bungie as a means to FLAME other board members, even starting POSTS just to say how the others are wrong. Is it the lack of mental capability to have a logical debate or is it you just like to argue? Thats all I have to say on that matter.

Here are my theories on ilovebees.com:

First, there is the opening page, which you have all seen:

HALT - MODULE CORE HEMORRHAGE

Control has been yielded to the
SYSTEM PERIL DISTRIBUTED REFLEX.

This medium is classified, and has a
STRONG INTRUSIVE INCLINATION.

In 2 days, network throttling will erode.

In 16 days this medium will metastasize.

COUNTDOWN TO WIDE AWAKE AND PHYSICAL:
30:04:01:26:179

Make your decisions accordingly.

I think this is overlooked, and here is what I have to say on it.

HALT - MODULE CORE HEMORRHAGE

This is Cortana and Master Chief inside Halo, and more specifically, Cortana within the databanks.

Control has been yielded to the
SYSTEM PERIL DISTRIBUTED REFLEX.

Perhaps when Cortana gains control of all of the Information, learning of what Halo is, how it is used and for what reasons.

This medium is classified, and has a
STRONG INTRUSIVE INCLINATION.

I believe this means the will of MC and Cortana to destroy Halo after learning of its secrets.

In 2 days, network throttling will erode.

In 16 days this medium will metastasize.

Network throttling is controlling how much traffic (bandwidth) is on the channels. I think after Halo was destroyed in CE, some kind of transmission was sent (perhaps from the Monitor?) to the other Halos, perhaps triggering something (the release of the Flood, perhaps?). This would make sense because it says the medium (referring to Flood?) will metastasize, which means to grow like a Cancer.

COUNTDOWN TO WIDE AWAKE AND PHYSICAL:
30:04:01:26:179

Make your decisions accordingly.

I think this points to the gameplay of Halo 2.

This is where MY theory comes in. Perhaps Halo 2 is non-linear. What if you can lose to the Flood, or whatever it is pointing too. Too make you decisions accordingly, to me, means to take part of what will happen, analyze it, and take action. What if you visit different regions each play through, and depending on the way you go, more pieces of the story will fit better. Maybe this is pointing to a multiple ending scenario, where MC can lose in the end. A Halo universe where you choose where you go next. Maybe some levels will have 3 or 4 different paths, each taking you somewhere else, even possibly leading to end of the human race.

Maybe the missions will be prioritized. Lets give an example. Call them Areas A, B, and C (for example purposes only).
If you go to Area A, take the path to Area C instead of the path to Area B first, when you do visit Area B, there will be a change in the story. What if the game is a giant twist, and one play through will NEVER reveal all the "behind the scenes" glory and story of Halo.

Bungie is keeping this under tight wraps, and maybe they have a card up their sleeves.
This is my take, at least on the FIRST PAGE, of The Bees

Any comments/debate/flames/whatever please post below.

Make your decisions accordingly.

Hey everyone....

Check this out: http://www.fact-index.com/e/en/entertainment_software_rating_ board.html

(Lazy Link it if you can, I don't know how on this forum)
Excerpt..

Entertainment Software Rating Board
The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) is a self-regulatory organization that applies and enforces ratings, advertising guidelines, and online privacy principles for video games in the United States. It was established in 1994 by the Entertainment Software Association. By early 2003, it had rated more than 8,000 titles submitted by 350 publishers. The ESRB may promote media restriction.

Content Descriptors
The content descriptors appear on the back of the game box as well as in print ads and game web sites. The ESRB has over twenty content descriptors, such as Alcohol Reference, Blood and Gore and Nudity. All of their descriptors are listed on their web site.

The Process
To obtain a rating, a publisher sends the ESRB actual footage of their game's most graphic and extreme content. They also fill out a detailed questionnaire describing the game's content. Three trained raters, working independently, then watch the footage and recommend a rating. If all raters agree on their rating, content descriptors are added and the ESRB notifies the publisher of its decision.

***** NOTE THIS*****
When the game is ready for release, the publisher sends copies of the final version of the game to the ESRB. The game packaging is reviewed, and ESRB's in-house experts play the game to ensure that all the information provided during the rating process was complete and accurate.
*****IMPORTANT*****

The identities of the ESRB raters are kept confidential. Raters cannot have any ties to the computer or video game industry.

-------------------------------------

The ESRB rated Halo 2 'M', therefore according to their rules above the game is ready for release, since they have sent the final copy of the game AND packaging.

--So if you still don't believe, I don't know what else will convince you now.
