Hey you guys know in X-Files the movie there was an agent dana scully and the plot was that bees would carry an infectious desease throughout the world, all of this in cooperation with aliens.

Yea, the bees, Dana, the disease that is supposed to "metastasize" (spread dangerously). It all fits (sort of), but all of that seems way too unlikely.

PS: Has anyone official at MS or Bungie addressed this issue? If not it seems likely that they are behind this as some kind of marketing ploy.

Bungie Really likes the number 7.
In the Ilovebees.com they use 17 years and 7 all the time, not to mention (as I posted above) that when the timer runs out it will be 77 days till Halo 2 come out on november 9th.

Maybe the release date was made to throw us off. Maybe they want it to be a surprise.

You know, The whole 77 days until Nov. 9th thing, and it saying "Make you descions accordingly..." I mean, it wouldn't be all that surprising if Bungie pulled a quick one, and just had Nov. 9th as a falisy. Make you descions accordingly... maybe meaning don't plan to be anywhere important the 24, as you may find yourself at EB games. Hmm-

Why at the bottom would it say Make your descions accordingly?

Someone, not Everyone, post all the FACTS we know. If we are going to figure this out we need to do that. Or let us all get on MSN and get in a big Chat.

So since we all know that there is alot of 7s in that site, we can assume that it's probably bungie/Halo2 related. The bees thing may have been put in there randomly. The people here that saw the "scoffish" thing know what im talking about. I just can't find a link to that site.

My Specualtion - This is a huge game or easter egg hunt.

My Proof - Somone posted a link here to an overview site for all ilovebees.com info ... on the site it said (http:// bees.netninja.com/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

"Overview
Several people in the Alternate Reality Gaming (ARG) community received mysterious packages containing honey, and so the mystery began. "

I checked our ARG and found out its a wierd roleplaying website. ( http://www.unfiction.com/history/ )

"Alternate Reality Gaming (also known as beasting, unfiction, or immersive fiction) is an interactive fusion of creative writing, puzzle-solving, and team-building, with a dose of role playing thrown in. It utilizes several forms of media in order to pass clues to the players, who solve puzzles in order to win pieces of the story being played out.

Clues can be passed through web pages, email, voicemail, snail mail, television advertisements, movie posters, campus billboards, newspaper classifieds...really, in any way that information can be passed.

Many times, the puzzles that must be solved cannot be solved alone. This genre of game almost requires participation in a group or community that works together to win past the more difficult hurdles.

Beasting is unique in that it wouldn't be possible without the community-building and networking power of the Internet. Besides the obvious fact that there would be no web pages or email in which to hide clues, it would be nearly impossible for the diverse audience to coordinate the sheer amount of data, speculation, and solutions among players. "

On ARG they talk about using Television Commercials to pass clues (i.e this ad) and that that many times, the puzzles that must be solved cannot be solved alone. This genre of game almost requires participation in a group or community that works together to win past the more difficult hurdles (i.e Bungie.net Forums)..

I emailed the owner, and Dana, and i am waiting for a reply and stamtent from both...
