Like i said, my theory is that all of this pre-halo 2 stuff is like role-playing what happened before earth gets attacked on Nov 9th. In the game i mean, not literally. So say aug 24th something else happens, a new website opens up with even weirder crap. Then Nov 9th, earth is attacked probably by the means we will learn throughout the next few months.

But why they would have a countdown to 3 months before the game is supposed to ship is a little odd.

Why are you guys scared?
Its nothing, if aliens were coming, yeah, they would hack a website no one has heard of...

The way i see it,story wise, some soldier is sending/ a website, telling us the conevnant are coming, warning us....of the release of Halo2...

IT`s just a marketing ploy for Halo2, calm down, go to sleep...

Yes, aliens are sending messages to us, their using HTML...right..

MuZl, how can we go to sleep if we're paranoid about some warning we've just received a message about who knows what it is?

It just doesn't seem like a marketing ploy to me. Ok, so I'm an average person who's never heard of Halo 2. I went to the movies to see Spider Man 2 and saw the Halo 2 trailer. I think its kinda of cool so I go to www.ilovebees.com. Then I see that Halo 2 is related to some retarted site filled with gibberish. Yeah, that makes me want to buy Halo 2.

you wouldn't see the ilovebees.com thing on the halo 2 trailer if you were'nt A) looking for it or B) watched it a million times (like we all did, because we love us some halo 2)

its more suspensefull, so it makes us want to buy the game, and i agree

and i don't think its a ploy, cuz i mean it dosen't say anything about Halo 2, Bungie, or Microsoft

Because it was in the trailer for Halo 2. Its done like that to get people to go there, they freak, look for more info online, and become really interested. Like we are.

i'm not intrested at all

okay, here's my theory (sorry if anyone else postulated this, can't very well read through 60 odd pages)... ( :

it's kelly. dr. haisley (sorry about spelling) is either operating on her because of her wounds and everything from first strike (that would explain the strapped down) or just has her strapped down so she won't go crazy when she wakes up. She/It keeps repeating that she would fight/die for any one of the "crew"... while naming the rest of her "family" of spartans a crew is strange, it does make sense seeing that any one of them is wiling to die for another. That's why she/it has so much confidence that someone will come and get her.

Also, in the i love bees page, something stuck out at me while reading (this is just some side speculation relating to the spec thread about the egyptians) "Honey has healing qualities, too! Ancient Egyptians used it on wounds because germs cannot grow in honey."

And here's where my obsession with halo 2 shine:
1: the address -
Margaret's House of Bees
2370 Market Street #510
San Francisco, CA 94114-1575 probably doesn't exist as a "house of Bees" (i mean it could, but there's a -blam!- magazine ocmpany, a "taste of leather" company, and a groceries and liquor company in the same complex search

2: a whois.net query
Efendi, Margaret ladybee777@hotmail.com
Margaret's House of Bees
Margaret's House of Bees
2370 Market Street #510
San Francisco, CA 94114-1575, US
415-248-2617 (goes straight to answering machine)

( side note: A query into the Napa Downtown Farmers market led to this litte story. I thought it was funny in a commical AND strange way. Napa News Article and this one was funny too)

3. A search for a M. Efendi in San Francisco yeilded only one number with no address attached. The phone rings, no answering machine.

And i know someone posted this already, but the "halo princes" does look a lot like "dana" (body size, hair length and color, etc.)

i'm scaring myself... but it was fun... can't wait to find out what the hell bungie's doing to us.... ( :
