Battle on, RA!

We did it with Halo 2, and we were completely wrong, we broke it down too much and wanted to make our own game.
We SURE as hell did it with Halo 3 and were even more wrong.
And now Reach?

What happened to just reading the book?
A few points I should make VERY clear:

Sam DIED BEFORE REACH, so HENCE he CAN'T BE in Reach.
John WON'T be in REACH seeing as how BUNGIE said so
Linda will NOT be on Reach because, this takes place on the ground battle not the space battle.

PLEASE PLEASE stop with these theories cause you're just making an ass of yourself, and trust me I am just as excited as you are for the game to come out to see what Bungie thought was worthy of our viewing.

I don't see you doing anything to help our country.
Except sitting at home, naked, eating twinkies, rubbing your hands together going "Heh. Target Destroyed. Mission Accomplished." Oh wait. that's not helping.

Who said we won't have a space battle? And John was on Reach so it's still possible, Bungie leads us to believe things all the time.

Just enjoy the damn game!
Who cares about BR vs AR

Halo 3 had only 1 level on a Halo installation. The rest of it was based on the Ark and Earth.

Whats to say Reach has only got one level based on Reach? Plus if it follows the book, Sam could play a part.

I agree with you, but I wouldn't be suprised if any of the theories come true.

Who says it's only on Reach?
Where did they say this?
Who says it will exclusively take place on the ground?

Theory hypocrisy fail

I Love ODST. Nice game.

You dont know where Halo: Reach would take place. Reach is maybe the main place but still doesn't give you proof of Characters. Halo: Fall Of Reach took place in Sigma Octanus IV some times. So maybe we are gonna play there too.

Battle on, RA!

Well if I remember correctly and I'd like to think that I do...
The Battle of Reach took Over a week, and Halo 3 the events happened in less than like 4 days,
so I'm PRETTY sure it's only based off of Reach, and even then in the trailer, John ALREADY left. Hence the highly noticeable Spartan figure seen floating in the void of space, I dont remeber the third spartans name who went with John and Linda but I'm almost certain that was him.

I think we should ALL re-read the books.
I'm not asking to get flamed, I just would like people to learn from their previous mistakes such as the ones done with Halo 2 and Halo 3, and if I'm wrong I'd be more than happy to come back and admit it.

lol theory disaproval fail.
Don't bash a theory because
A. Its just a theory (they've been given more than enough proof for me)
B. you probably havent read the books. So be quiet.

Space Battle? Plausible. But John was not on Reach, durr. He was in space.

there is no indication that the game is based on any part of the books.

there is no indication that it isn't.

We don't know -blam!-.

Well to answer your first question, James was the Spartan that was hit with an explosive needle that sent him rocketing out into space. Also, it could have a Fallout 3 esque beginning, where you start off in the training program, the first contact, and the Space battle over Reach.

Also, the Spartans from left to right.

Hope I helped out a little.

Signatures are for squares.

I always laugh at the people who think Reach is just about the ground battle. Incase nobody can remember, the ENTIRE ground force at Reach was wiped out in a matter of hours. The only reason the battle dragged on for weeks was because of the Spartans holding our out in Castle Base.

its a 17+ game. on the back of the game box it says "game experience may change online" and at the age of 12 i know most boys are NOT going to say "eww, cooties" at pics on some fileshares.

You realise that your whole speech explaining why the differerent characters won't be in the game is just a theory. First of all, do we know whether the game takes place during the battle of reach or before it, or throughout the whole book? Also are you a bungie employee? I thought not, therefore can you offer proof that it only takes place during the ground battle and not the space battle. Answer that jackass

I see you used my theory of the fallout 3 sort of time progression, I posted it in Privet Cabooses thread I believe well done.

Also apologies if this goes to being a double post
