Nope.

Halo 2 had the best campaign of the series. It was more challenging, more frantic, more cinematic, and more varied than the other two games. However, Halo CE does boast the best campaign for exploration. I will never forget driving around the rolling landscape of Halo or the sandy beaches of Silent Cartographer for the first time. The levels of the first game just seemed more open and natural than those of the sequels. However, despite this, Halo 2 emerges victorious in terms of actual gameplay, especially when it comes to playing on Legendary difficulty.

And Halo 3? It was too short, too repetitive, and too "artificial". The game felt like a bad Halo knock-off rather than the real thing and the Brutes were very underwhelming adversaries. Also, maybe it's just me, but the graphics of Halo 3 looked oddly fake, almost cartoonish, and they distract me quite a bit. ODST goes a long way towards fixing that problem which is odd because both games run on the same engine. Lastly, the addition of Equipment was a horrible idea that ruined the gameplay dynamics so carefully crafted in the first two games and cheapened multiplayer.

"I think Reach is a pretty cool guy. eh drives froklifts and doesn't afraid of anything."

It's hard to say. Co-op and multiplayer as a whole in the Halo games has always been stellar. The kind of stuff that you marathon through the night for. Even without Xbox Live it's great.
