That would be a really cool feature if there are other spartans who get to help you out in campaign mode. What do all of you think?

I think there may be in campain. In Halo: First Strike a number of Spartans survived to return to Earth so we have to hear something about them and maybe be able to fight along side with then. There is a good possibility because a Spartan is supposed to fight. And they usually fight together.

well there might be other spartans helping you later on in the game because of those spartans that survived the planeet Reach.

That would be quite cool, they should show they're personality too! e.g. Kelly's speed, she'd use it

I also wouldn't mind communicating with them and ordering them.

Halo: the Fall of Reach takes place before Halo the game and came out first. Then Halo: the Flood (during the game), and then Halo: First Strike (after the game).

If you had read the books you would have known that Dr. Hasley "kidnapped" Kelly in the end of the first strike.

Not all the SPARTANs hold the rank of Master Chief. Only John is a Master Chief, and that's because he is the squad leader, and he needs to outrank the rest of the SPARTANs so that he has tactical command of them at all times.

Also, in keeping with the mystery surrounding the SPARTANs in Halo, I would like to see Bungie continue referring to them as SPARTAN-117, SPARTAN-058, etc. It keeps a veil of secrecy between the SPARTANs and the regular soldiers that makes them more awe-inspiring and makes them seem more dangerous.
