Warning: You may find that my, or someone else's opinion does not comply with yours. Side effects of disagreement may include (but are not limited to): flaming, irrational behavior, broken keyboards, and/or nervous sweats. If you experience any of these symptoms refrain from communicating with others until the symptoms have subsided.

These are all great ideas! What about breakable glass? You could make skylights that would be breakable and even glass domes or anything you could think of. Water would also be awesome to have.

Yes! I always wanted glass in Forge. That is a great addition, I'll add it to the OP now.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

-Thanks to Rocket Turtle for pointing out my typing follies.

i would like a really dynamic map creator. far cry 2's is great, and should be seen as the benchmark from now on. im not too worried about terrain effects etc, but having the ability to quickly and easily make a functional map from scratch would be great. im thinking about something almost along the lines of the sims house editor. you can easily make walls by simply clicking and dragging. this is where i see the best map creators going in the future. combine this with more control over specific objects, as you mentioned editing size, shape etc, and you've got a multi-purpose map editor/creator that could be used to make maps of matchmaking quality without the hours of toil that forging currently requires.

In another thread, someone posted that my object editor is, "very impossible." I thought of a way to make the 'Object Forge' more, "possible."

Here goes:

Instead of having more of a separate mode, the object editor would be within Forge. Pressing a certain button would take you to a white room like area, where you would put together various objects, group them, and then go back to normal Forge.

More simple, more possible, mostly the same effect.

Comments...?

Yes! I love this thread.

I guess I mostly agree with your new ideas, your Object Forge would be hard to put in the game. But your simple object editor does pretty much the same thing, and with the copy and paste option you would eliminate the need to save objects.

Dear Bungie,

Here is how you make forge better: Add more of everything, add every feature imaginable.
Should be pretty easy to implement, and if I can think of something that's not featured, I will be cry and troll these forums.

Yeah..I think they should put more FXs in there to change the weather on certain maps that would be cool.

You haven't thought about the capability's that the xbox can reach. Basically it will not be able to process all of this.
