I love it when a plan comes together

I think the veto system is a brilliant idea but not truly taken advantage of in bungies matchmaking.

Why not add Y into the mix?

Example . Big Team Playlist.
Gametype and map is selected as in Halo already. Then the players have the chance to press X for slayer based game or Y for a objective based game and if less then half veto, the map stays.

Also to reach the point that the vetoing of the map occurs it requires a odd number.
5 or 9 meaning the X and Y vetoing is split 1 way or the other

Do you really care? you can't automatically see my signature anyway.

the last part lost me. I think we should keep it simple and stay with the old system or be able to veto the map or the gametype and It wont matter as much because in Reach there will be custom game searches (if you think there wont because halo 3 didnt... halo 3 would have but xbl's custom game search had just come out and bungie didn't want to take the time to included so far into the project, it would have pushed the release back i'm guessing, if you haven't heard of xbl's game search it's the one GOW2 uses.)

Why not just have a button for Map Veto and a button for Game Type Veto?

exactly my thought.
I hate vetoing a good map because I don't like the gametype :/
