Im pretty handy with those assassinations.

I can remember back to my first expirience with Halo Combat Evolved, everything was new and different. I cant even tell you how creepy the first contact with the flood was. Why is it that in the subsequent games, there just isnt that level of fear? Its because we expected the flood to be in those games. I'd like that level of unknown in the next game, i like the twist that was the original Halo. I'd like to see something so new that it'll keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I think that a story driven game like the Halo series is what has been missing from the video game world as a whole. Thanks Bungie and keep it Clean.

Halo:CE was the best game of the series story wise. There was also that feeling of being alone in the big open world against Covenant or Flood when there were no marines around.

Halo 2 was an upgraded Halo:CE where you had alot of the same things going on minus the open-ish world missions and the sense of being alone only last for a short time.

Halo 3 was all about over-powering the Covenant and Flood where you always would have someone with you whether it the Arbiter or a marine. If you lost all the marines and had no more, that would change within 5-10 minutes.

Well I think the reason the Flood don't keep you on edge anymore is because you are used to them or Bungie made them less scary, I kinda played the gamesin a wrong order, I played Halo CE when i was like 7 and i only played a couple of levels including the one when your in a swamp type place (could be the Guilty spark level) then i played Halo 3 with my freind and we started from The Ark and ended at the beggining of Cortana then later my freind showed me the last level, i got a Xbox 360 with Halo 3 then i accidently bort Halo CE in german and then i played Halo 2. I think Bungie made the Flood less scary.

The Flood in Halo:CE was something new and just thrown at you half way through the game. Halo 2, even if you didn't realise it you did expect them at some point in the game. Then in Halo 3 even if you didn't realise it again you did expect them in the game as well but this time Bungie threw in a surprise by adding the new Flood characters.

Im pretty handy with those assassinations.

Halo 3 Flood forms were a bit scarier but still the deciding factor as to how they were inputted into the story just seemed to be expected. But yeah i totally agree with you.

Just enjoy the damn game!
Who cares about BR vs AR

As long as they don't have ranged forms. I pretty much commited suicide on Cortana with those things.
