Maps are great, but I would like a bit more variety for DLC.
So how about this: Single Campaign missions, which show a different aspect of reach or the halo universe.
Heres some Ideas:
Idea #1:During the battle of reach, a rogue brute ship (brutes were not supposed to be on reach thats why they are rogue) landed on reach and stole something important to the covenant (not necesserily a Forerunner artifact). The Covenant want it back, as well as removing all evidence of the brutes being on Reach.
You play as a SpecOps Elite (black armored ones) NOTE: you can play co-op you will be a squad of SpecOps Elites. Your objectives are to Recover what the brutes have stolen, Eliminate the brutes and eliminate anyone aware of their existance.
This means you will fight, brutes, marines and the covenant.
You spawn with: Energy Sword, Plasma Rifle (but the plasma rifle should be stronger in Reach anyway.)
Idea #2: You play as Spartan Blue team and fight against The United Rebel Front:
From halopedia
The United Rebel Front were a major Insurrectionist organization operating in the 111 Tauri System and other star systems during 2531 at the latest, which claimed to have a number of people suffering from Boren's Syndrome and that they were willing to trade some of their nuclear weapons in return for treatment for their people from UNSC doctors.[1] The UNSC sent in five Spartans, known as Blue Team, to take the weapons and kill any rebel leaders.[2] It turned out that the entire plan was an elaborate trap engineered by Graves to capture the Spartans and study them. The Rebels were unsuccessful in capturing the Spartans thanks to Spartan-051 who ambushed and killed numerous rebels including General Howard Graves, with an Asteroidea Anti-Personnel Mine while Graves was "interrogating" the rest of the Spartans, who were unable to move due to the effect of Neural Inhibitor Collars.

Maybe even a recreation of the first level of Halo CE? That would be a good extension. =P
Thank you for reading and please comment.
Also, feel free to post your own ideas!
