One way, for duel wield swords to work, is to not dispatch multiple enemies, ( I mean cmon, dispatching multiple enemies at with two swords would only work in cutscenes) but, rather, the capability to easily dispatch one very tough enemy. (examples of tougher than normal enemies, are halo ce zealot elites, halo 2 ultra elites, halo 2 honor guard brutes, etc.)
The bonus of duel wielding swords are somewhat insignifanct however, the lunge distance should be the same, attack speed slightly better, but now, you have a sure fire capability to kill in one hit, this feature, besides being cool and flashy, will allow new players, who would struggle fighting Ultras, Zealots, and/or Brute Chieftans to kill them alot easier, when they have no other power weapons.
This feature should be blocked in multiplayer however, one sword in a map is already enough.
