Hey, I'm fairly good with build computers/testing/that kinda stuff. Anyway when I got halo pc I was surprized to see how it was a real graphics card hog. I expected that my nvidia geforce fx 5700 LE would be able to handle full settings with no problem, but wow I was surprized. I can play counterstrike source, half life 2, farcry, you name it with the settings all the way with great framerate. Anyway I've been looking into getting a new videocard, the nvidia 6800, and I was just wondering if anyone here has one and can tell me how halo pc runs on it, but here is a link to the specs HERE . Just wondering if you think i could run the graphics settings up all the way like 1280x1024 resolution, and everything else on high. I have a fairly fast computer, amd 64 3200, and 768megs of ddr pc3200 ram. thanks any suggestions from experience with this card would be great.

Of course it will run. 6800 Ultra is nVidia's best videocard right now [until 7800GTX hits]. I'd think with everything on and at 1600x1200, you'd get about 100fps. That's about what I get on an X850XT, which is about the same performance wise.

its not the ultra, just the plain old 6800. I dont know how much halo requires cause i mean my pc ran all of the other top games perfectly.
