The greatest and funniest experience in halo was when i played the level "The Maw". I was at the last part and it was after echo 419 had already blown up or w/e. I was going and i was about to take the jump with the warthog. I went over it, looked like a good jump. But for some odd reason the warthog plumeted to the very bottom and i was left on the place i was suppose to land. I had to finish the rest on foot. I finished the level with about .7 seconds left. I was in so much shock i almost peed my pants with so excitment ! ! ! !

My best Halo memory actually was at a Halo 2 LAN party last week.

We had 3 BOXes and there were some of us who were good and others that were o.k.
So we ended up playing CTF (flag at home to score, 30 flag reset time) 4 v.s. 6. It was f-ing impossible. Those two guys really make a difference......

So it was 0-2 and we were screwed. The game had already been going on for over an hour (just that ONE GAME!)

The other team (with six people) were all, "We get bragging rights if we win!" Yeah, no. That pissed us off so we came back and tied it 2-2. That in itself was awesome. Every time that we would get them to drop our flag, they would respawn and it was NEVER alone for more than 30 seconds.

So this game has been going and hour and forty-five minutes. They have our flag and we have theirs. One of my teamates was hiding (crouched) with the flag and we decided that it was time to end the thing. So 3 v.s. 6, we took them on, got our flag back and won. It may sound not that cool, but it was INSANE.

THE GAME LASTED 2 HRS. AND 27 MINS.!!!!!

I ended up with:

2 flag captures
156 kills
87 medals
and a 57% hit percentage.

HOLY CRAP!! (thats a good hit % for me, trust me.)

One of the other guys on my team ended up with:
1 Capture
137 kills
53 medals

And another guy on our team:
FIRED 10121 shots! TEN THOUSAND!

Yeah, thats my memory. THANK YOU BUNGIE!

My best memory of Halo was when me and my m8's had an 8 vs. 8 all out slayer match, at first we were losing bad because we were being sniped off and run over, then for some reason they decided to group together and charge which was absoultely stupid as we all had grenades... it was like a mine field watching about 32 grenades all exploding at basically the same time... just watching them fly brings tears to ur eyes.
None of them survived and after that we quickly increased in the number of kills until in the end after about 1hr 30mins we reached about 999 kills.
The last 100 kills were just us running around with shotguns shooting anything that moved... unfortunately we got about 30 betrayels ;-)

i dont understand why halo 2 has a separate section for if u wanna play a cooperative game or single player campaign. i liked it better if you could have a friend jion for one level then beat 1 by yourself( like in halo1)

My faverite memory would have to be when i had a 16 player lan party at my house. We were all sitting around with cokes and hamburgers playing some CTF blood gulch. This game has been goin on for about 3 hrs you see and nobody has scored or even got close. The people that i play with are damn good players too, but we had a few noobs also. Well i was on the red team. The blue team stole the flag and took off in a warthog, i happened to be where the rocket launcher was so i picked that up and waited for the warthog to come flyin by. Well i saw it, and it missed me by about an inch as it flew over my head, i immediatly turned around and planted a plasma on the back and let loose a rocket. Man did that hog go flyin, as did the flag as well. I started running to the blues base and i was followed by about 5 of our guys. The flag was sitting right on the front doorstep of the blues base. I was running as fast as i could to that flag. Blues were everywhere, behind me beside me in front of me. I didnt seem to have enough guns. Everyone was running to the flag, but a blue got there first. Right as he walked in the blue base a sniper bullet hissed passed my head and slammed into the blues poorly protected helmet. Im still running to the flag, my teamates are falling all around me. Im desperatly fighting to get to the flag. I get to the flag, return it, and immediatly die a millisecond later. My entire house went into an uproar. Everyone was screaming, crying, and laughing. That right there is what bring peaple together and why halo is one of the greatest games of all time. We still talk about that to this day.

I have alot of good memories from halo, but these are my top 3:

1. My friend Danny had a LAN party after he got Xbox and Halo. It was like 14 people i his basement, with 4 tvs and it was awesome. We started up a game of CTF on battle creek, everyone in. I ran to the top of the cliff to get the rocket launcher to camp the door of the blue base ( my team) i turn to the red base to see if my teammates made any progress. They were about to run into the front door to grab the flag, when like almost all of the red team comes running out at them from all directions of the base. There was a huge battle, with bullets and crap and explosions everywhere for like 30 seconds, and then everone was dead. So with all these dead bodies and guns lying on the ground, one of my teammates slowly comes walking out with the flag. It must have been hilarious for him, to go in and get it and come back out to see everybody dead.

2. On blood gulch, mi was on top of the base sniping and i started getting shot at by my friend i was playing against. I he ran on top of the base and had to reload luckily, but ran after me for the kill. Now all hardcore Halo players will remember how slow the rockets were on long distance shots. I aimed at the telporter platform, shot a rocket at it and ran in. I turn around and see my friend come jumping through the teleporter after me and right on time, my rocket comes from the base i shot it off of and he explodes. It was probably the best ownage kill i ever had on him, right next to when he was coming in a ghost so i just started firing random sniper rifle bullets without the scope on and got a headshot.

Me and my cousin were playing chill out, and i had picked up the rocket launcher and the shotgun, both of which were out of ammo, so i started yelling "Crap, crap, im out of ammo!" He wanted to humiliate me and beat me to death, so i started running away. When he was about to smack me, i jump up and back over him and kill him.

HaHa... no question... quad-killtacular in wizard... brutal CTF sniper matches in Hang Em High...shieldless 15 min king of the hill w/ pistols + no shields... Can't ever say topping 300 kills in a game ain't fun.

It was the day I first got an Xbox.... joy came to me. My dad had secretly played it and practiced Halo, and we were playing a custom gametype I made, SN iper. It was 35 to 49, my dad winning. He told me he had practiced and studied boarding action(the level we played it on... a damned good map for snipers) and right before he got the final kill I shot him in the head. Now I was running blindly, sniping him as I went till it was 49 48, me (he suicided) He plasma grenaded my back, 49 49, and I respawned right behind him, and kersmacked his head open! Good times, good times.

Oooh, this is a tough one. Me and my friends would always play 8 player Halo LAN parties like every month or so, and I've had so many good memories, so I'll narrow it down into two.

1/ It was weird, we had a kill in order slayer match on Sidewinder, but other than that, normal settings, all vehicles, and yadda yadda yadda, ya usual stuff. Well, kill in order (in the odd chance u've never played it) is funny in a strange way. 2 of the worst players were leading myself (i regard myself as one of the best in my friends, there are a few) was third. One of these best players, took 30 mins to get a first point, as he could simply not find his target. However, the funniest moment came when one of the worst players (his name was Rylett) had a tactic of hiding the whole game, and running away from everybody, as it was his way of living, and over time, he managed to accumulate ALL of the 7 peoples targets, and thus we dubbed him "the most wanted man alive" and it took us like 5 minutes for sumbody to finaly kill him, and then the carnage continued :P

2/ Now, this is very very weird aswell. at one of our LAN parties, one of my big headed friends (he's so unbelievably cocky, you wudn't believe it) was so cocky during one match, the next match we set it up as 7 vs 1, but as the advantage was in our favour, he set the rules. He chose:

Boarding Action
All Invisible
No Shields
50% health
Weapons : Sniper Rifles
Starting weapons : Plasma Pistol and Assult Rifle.
First to 50

Now, you might think that we should whoop him, but as he had his entirely own screen, and with everybody invisible, he was able to snipe sum careless person, and move onwards. After it became 15 - 0, we decided to change tactics and we all grouped together, in a small room on level 3, blue side, you know the one, it's got a ladder inside going upwards, and a small rectangle opening in the wall as well for sniping, with two snipers on the doorway with 1 bodyguard to try and get him. Well, we managed to make the score 15 - 7 now, and were getting pleased at this new tactic, and when one of my friends mistook the left trigger for the crouch button. This one frag grenade killed all 7 of us, and set the score to 15 - 0. The next tactic resolved in having 6 people on one floor usingsniper rifle, and getting sumbody to run around firing the plasma pistol and other guns, until our enemy would snipe him, and then us 7 would snipe him, which, although would give him 1 kill for every one of our kills, was certainly a lot better than losing 15 - 0.

Sorry if I've taken far too long, but this is just 2 of my favourite moments ever (and that's out of a lot of them) in my 3rd favourite game ever, (the first is Halo 2 ;-) adn the 2nd Ocarina of Time)

Hmmm... Thats a toughy. Well I guess one time me and my friends were playing system link, 4 on 4. It was blood gulch/ capture the flag/ 100% health/ all weapons/ all vehicles. I got in a scorpion tank and my friend got a ghost and was charging for me and I thought "What a moron", so I try and blast him but he dodges it and uses my tank as a ramp and fly ontop of me. I try and turn my turret and shoot him, luckily he had 4 grenades and 4 plasma grenades, so in the impact of my shot his other grenades exploded and he flew majesticly in the air and then landing ontop of my base in a heep.

Another time my friend was playing "The Maw" on legendary and was about to beat it. He had 20 seconds left and he only needed 5 more seconds to beat it, but my other friend triped on the cord and made my friend lose. He was so mad. I laughed so hard I cried.

ok... my best halo moment was in multiplayer (the first halo game) it was to be the last score in the game (ctf) for the other team. we both had two flags scored already but this guy had the flag like two feet from his base. there was a guy on my team behind him, out of ammo and no grenades. I had a sniper rifle from the complete other side of the level. the guy behind him was too far away for him to smack him. i had one shot! and im a terrible shot. I aim my crosshairs on his head. and fire. he was dead before he hit the ground. my teamate returned the flag and we went on to sluaghter them and win. it was awesome!

My best Halo memory was just playing it the first time, I'd never heard of Halo before. I thought it looked cool when it came with my Xbox so I plugged it in, started playing and (Cliche alert) it actually was like nothing I'd ever played before. I don't know how but before I knew it it was midnight and I was up to AOTCR and I'd been playing nonstop.
