I purchased my Xbox on a Sunday, Three days after the Release of my the xbox with my first game being Halo. I was a lot younger 4 years ago, and Halo seemed very different from what it does now. I was 12 and I remember seeing the commercial and decided thats what I wanted for my birthday (mine was on the 17th, two days after xbox's release.) They were sold out everywhere and it seemed I'd have to wait several weeks before I'd get one when my dad and myself went to one last store. To my suprise they had one more xbox and a few more Halo's. I quickly snatched it up and went home when I finally got at 9:00 at night and only for about half an hour because it was a school night and I was 12. I'll never forget playing it that first night, it was so much different then any other time I played. I really basically knew nothing about it, I had only saw the cool commercial for it, so the experience was complete amazing and new to me. It was the best experience because it wasn't alter by the multiplayer it was basically all about the story line. To be honest with you I hadn't talked to anyone else who had it so I wasn't concerned if I was better than anyone I was concerned with the story. Halo was a great campain, story, challenge, with amazing graphics, that seemed as real as real could get on video games(the system I owned preceeding this was a PS1, so the graphics were amazing). When I completed the campain it became a great multiplayer game, but it wasn't the same as the first night were everything about the game seemed breath taking. That was my first and best memory of the game and Xbox. Good Job Bungie.
