I would have to say my very best moment was playing the game for the first time.
Then from that moment on it created a chain of events for the next 3 years were we would get together every weekend and kill eachother for hours on end only stoping when we were about to die from starvation or not sleeping for the last 48 hours or so.
When I first started I was the "demolishions guy", since I was so horrible at the game my team mates used me as a suicide bomber. "Hey Ted turn around for a second" "umm ok"
Phewwww, tsssssssss, "Ted , now run into that room!" ......... "Boom"
You killed Mr.bubbles
You killed Kyle
You killed Peirce
You killed Hambone
My friends would stick a plasma to my face and make me frun into a crowd of guys heh, good times.
But I eventually moved from that to the "Crazy/Suicidle Flag Runner" I may not have killed many people but I wouldnt stop trying until I got the enemys flag. That was my goal , no reward, no women, no sleep, no food, until I got that flag. Even if it ment I would drive my trusty ol' Warthog threw the firey pits of hell strait into the heart of the Red base on Sidewinder and run over the entire opposing team and half of mine, ... so be it.
But lets skip ahead to the part where I get Halo , beat it on legendary 8 times by myself then never play campaign agian just multiplayer with my friends for 3 years and I becaome the Halo God for the entire area that I live in , and my friends who first taught me how to play the game.
Besides that one, one of my many , many , Halo experiences would be the time on blood gultch CTF ,no radar , instant respawn, 5 captures, 4v4, when the opposing team was on the verge of the 5th capture, I picked up a handy old sniper rifle took the warp from red base to catch up to the flag runner , run up the hill, head shot him, his buddy comes picks up the flag , i head shot , him , then another comes picks up the flag I head shot him , giveing me a triple kill, the flag is now only about 50 feet away from there base, they instantly respawn , i back behind the hill , reload , pop back up, now there are all four of them , only one of them touches the flag, the other three die by getting blasted in the face by the wrath of my mighty sniping skills, the 4rth guy trys to make a stand with one of those pistols, I have one bullet left in the chamber, i duck , head shot him re-load , i start to make a dash for the flag , as all four of them respawn , they jump off the base , lighting me up with there Machine guns , I then head shot all of them getting a Killtacular and a running roit , im out of ammo, so I just run strait for the flag. A split second later they all respawn also going for the flag , being so close i made a leap of faith , and pouncing on the flag returning it for my team, i then pull my Rocket launcher out of my pocket and charge them get a double kill and a suicide.
We won that game =)
Another would be the time would be on prisoner 12 player FFA , noscopes, so there were shotguns in the sniper towers. I got a shot gun and it was total chaos. I jumped down to the main floor were the fury was going and blasted the shi* out of just about everyone. The best part of that game besides the lagg and dieing, was I got 8 killtaculars that game. The most i have ever gotten in a game before.
Man , I have so many cool awsome experiences from this game , God bless your soul Bungie.
Another one would be the time me and my buddys had a 6 player FFA on Chill out , Snipers Only, All players have active cammofluage. That was pretty fun and challenging , you should try it =)
Then there is always the stuff me and my friends make up. Like naming the stuff in the game. Like we call the rocket launcher the "Victory Stick" or "Fire boom stick" , or the rock on blood gultch between red base and the portal exit for red base , we call it "Pride Rock"
Look at it and think "lion king" , you will know what im talking about heh.
Well I have so much more , but I wont bore yeh any longer, I cant even read this much.
Sooo , join the revolution! May Halo be with yah!
Peace
