I remember my first Halo 1 experiance like it was yesterday. I was at my cosins house on there birthday. My mom bought them the give that kept on giving for 4 years. It was Halo 1. So we put it in the Xbox and I stared at the T.V. with my mouth wide open in awe. I wacthed as my 2 cosins & me had our guns blazing at each other, killing something for the first time (not in a pyscotic way :P). I will never forget that first time I played on sidewinder and beat the crud out of my cosins. It's a great thing :,).

When me and three of my friends stay up all night playing halo.. great fun

i was always the worst player there, mostly because i liked sticking plasma grenades to myself...

omg i miss those days

halo 2 multiplayer has gottin more hardcore (and its harder to stick yourself then in halo 1 :P)

The first night I got Halo, I was playing 2v2 on Blood Gulch, and I picked up a sniper rifle. I had already gotten it down, and my friends were getting frustrated. Remember now, at this point none of us knew of the power of the pistol. So, my buddies hop in a warthog, and confidently say to me,"Try to snipe us now!"
So, I was on the sunny side cliff, and their warthog was passing by. The hog ramped, I zoomed in and shot. To my amazement, I watched the gunner's head kick back as his body left the hog. That was my first vehicle snipe, headshot too. That was also the first time I ever shot at a vehicle with a sniper rifle. Needless to say, we were all amazed, and continued to play for the next 7 hours.

one thing i remember clearly was whenever you played, you would create a new gametype, and you could makethem in 20 secs or so, and then using the default name, and ending up with liek halo010 and not knowing what any of the 10 unnamed gametypes are, so just making a new one. good times good times, now fixed by quick customizations

blood gulch. i like that map more than congulation

finding out you could play less than 8-16 ppl on blood gulch
playing 2 ppl on blood gulch and wondering why it took so long

My favourite memory must be when I sprayed my half-dead mate with my assualt rifle, so he could respawn and then save our Ass's; but he respwaned next to a sword guy, and he got speared with that all-powerful light of death. Damn good times, particullarly when you get your mate in the ass with a tank on Blood gulch. Thanks Bungie-it was great.

Memory's are a powerfull thing indeed. The most legendary bit on the game, every time i think of halo, i think of tha d-day landing bit on The Silent Cartographer, (the start of the level) that is truly a legendary bit of a game! And remember when i was on a bit on legendary, when i saw some random marine, beat the crap out a hunter lol! He did he do that!

Wow, I remember the first time I played Halo. I had never heard of it before. I just got my xbox on Christmas Eve and my mom got me Halo she said the guy at the store said that it was a popular game. I''m like "okay, never heard o it...meh, whatever I'll play." That was around 8 PM when I started playing. When did I stop? Well, let's just say I didn't sleep the next day...or the day after that...I loved it. I still do...*thinks back to playing Assualt on the Control Room* So fun. Sniping the elite on the bridge before he can get in the banshee...ah, good times. I have my fairshare of Halo 2 memories too but none as good as those of Halo 1. Halo one was just all around fun. Halo 2 is more competitive and the SP makes you want to finish it. In Halo 1 you were waiting for the next time you got to fight an Elite.

The first time I was introduced to Halo 1 was almost 3 years ago. We played multiplayer and I got my but kicked, then I stayed up all night playing co-op campaign with my friend until 9am when I had to get ready and go to class.

My best experience is the sense of accomplishment I had when I first beat the whole game through on legendary.

My best memories of Halo were when my brother still lived in my basement and he had a xbox. I had never had a game console so i was always bugging him to play it. We would play it on co-op alot and my favorite memory is when we were driving the Warthog through the last level, you know where you have to beat the clock to get on the ship and fly and away to live happily ever after with your little cyber buddy in your head, anyway *rambles* he was letting me drive and i crashed it about 5 times and we both got scared that we would die lol.

a few of mine...

getting a warthog all the way to the maproom switch on cartographer. what a pain in the ass, but so worth it seeing it sit there in the end. getting it back out, not a chance.

getting the scorpion tank, both hogs, and all four ghosts on top of one base on blood gulch.

constantly wondering how ANYONE can get a 3 hit kill with the pistol, when I sat there with a second player one day and tried every possible angle of head shots with the pistol and still only managed to get a kill in 5 shots.

big multiplayer game on blood gulch, and a heated battle going on for the win. I think the score was 44-45, I was sniping and my friend Jeff was walking up behind me with rockets. he sees a warthog clear on the other side of the map moving up one of the ramp paths, and he fires a rocket over my shoulder.. I follow it with the rifle, and it meets the warthog perfectly several seconds later. those rockets really took some skill back then...

playing the entire level of 'truth and reconciliation' with the sniper rifle, and never using the scope. no scoping cloaked sword elites is so cool.

yeah! if you drive a warthog into cartographer, where the chief walks out on the bridge and kicks the little rock thing, the camera will pan over, and the rock will fly off, but there is no chief there kicking it. kinda funny.

Beating 343 Guilty Spark on through the maw on legendary with my bud, and when you see Sarge hugging the elite we both started crying. It was just...so beautiful.
