my best memory, hmmmm?
Well i remember that the first time i played halo i was in the air force in Altus,OK stationed at Altus AFB. we would have little party's every week end out behind our drom's. i only had a ps2 i thought i'm mot going to buy one of those stupid xbox's every game they have is on the ps2 and even if they don't i can live with out a few games(turns out i could'nt live without just one). any way i would bring out my tv and ps2 and my stereo(the loudest on BASE!) and we would party all niight drinking, listing to music while playing games(see my mom always told me to get out of the house and go play out side, so i took my tv and video games and played them out side). well during one such party my good friend Russ Johnson brought out his xbox and a few games. no one really played games that much so it just kinda sat there, at about 3:00 am the party was pretty much over all except for me i was playing my ps2 and i decided around 5:00 am i wanted to try this "HALO" thing every one was talking about, SO i put it in i put it to easy(don't want to challege myself just get the feel of the game). i will never forget that morning playing while it was still dark, playing in the cold air, drinking the beer that was still left from the party. that hour changed my life! then another guy i knew in the dorm came walking up to me around 6:00 am and said "Cool HALO, wanna play co-op". I really did'nt i want to, i wanted to keep killing every thing in sight alone. but i also did not want to be a @#$% so i said "Yeah, sure". if i thought the first hour changed my life i did'nt know what a life changing event was. he showed me some cool stuff then he said lets play some death match(now you need to know that i don't like first person shooters, never have, still don't, theres only 2 fps"s that i like. to this day). i did'nt want to but i dident want to be a @#$% so i said "Sure". what followed next was, Snipers on Boarding Action to 50. Just me against him. that was all it took i had a new outlook on life, i saw the cosmos for what it was, and i achieved super-dimentioal-omni-present-oneness. after that i made it a point to play as much halo as possible i would orginize 16 player games every weekend and most of the the week nights. THAT WAS MY FIRST EXPERINCE WITH, THE GREATEST GAME IN HISTORY, HALO!
