I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I cant believe it has already been 7 amazing years of Halo already. Halo is an epic game with alot more great some coming it's way!

Halo: Started out, great, finished, terrificly, amazingly, horrorificly, stupendously, amazing.
What is left to be discovered none of us may know, but what i do know is that from here on out we can do no wrong. for this is a truely amazing age we live in, Halo being almost ten years old. i can still remember the very first day at my cousins house. i watched him storm the control room, and snipe that useless Elite right through the faceplate. my first thought was, i want to play, and lo did i behold in front of me one of the greatest games ever made.

"....There are those who said this day would never come. What are they to say now?...."

My best memories have to be:

Seeing Halo for the first time, after being told how awesome it was, and not believing a word of it! It really opened my eyes.

Slogging it through legenday on co-op for the first time (taking 4 hours to do assault on the control room!).

creating a gametype very similar to SWAT (no shields, minimum health, infinite grenades..it was called Gerbilation :p), and ended up owning people at it as they couldn't get used to not having so much health.

Playing multi, I was always the underdog..I didn't own an Xbox until Halo 2 was launched, so I didn't get much chance to practice. One of my best memories was finally defeating one of my friends who had always whupped me previously, on Prison. To add insult to his injury, he was teamed up with someone else against me, and I beat them by one kill. It was so intense!

Another awesome memory is playing 3 of my friends against me on Chiron TL34. I was blue, and they were Red. We were just running around manically, teleporting all over the place, and I suddenly found myself standing with my back to the wall, as all three of them popped through teleporters right in front of me! Gibbering with panic, I ended up shouting "I see Red people!", before, to my own surprise, dispatching all three very rapidly and obtaining a triple kill. They were all reduced to tears of laughter at my outburst for about the next 10 minutes at what I had said, I I had an awesome feeling of accomplishment.

For me, multi Halo is all about LAN, most of my best gaming memories all stem from LAN Halo, or Halo 2 with friends online.

I think my most memorable Halo memory was when I first popped the disk in the tray. The anticipation. The wonder of it all. The soul of Halo gets to you, you know. It has a unique feeling and depth...one that we all appreciate. The first time you stick a plasma grenade on a red elite...The first time you blast a grunt in the face with a shotgun...The unforgettable moment of bliss and utter triumph as Halo blows up in your TV screen...The satisfaction of knowing that the Legendary setting is beneath you...Yeah, all priceless. Utter, unmovable awesomeness. I'm hooked for life.

My fondest memory of Halo: CE SP would be 343 Guilty Spark....it felt weird at the beginning...because every map before had been midday, this confused me, along with the fact that the covie's we're running at the beginning.
It just gave me this chill like i wasnt suppost to be here.....and it scared me because i thought the trees we're pregnent with something...felt like the even the enviroment was aganst you.

Then when you see the video from the marines helmet, and you think "Oh -blam!-".

My fondest memory of Halo: CE MP was Shotguns KOTH Chillout, so fun, and still is to this day....even though its been 7 years.

Fave memory? Let me think.... oh yeah, indestructible vehicles. when playing a massive multiplayer level one does not wish to have to walk clear across the level. In Halo:CE all you had to do was plant a grenade or rocket in the right spot and you had your ride. this feature sped up the multiplayer considerably since you didnt have to wait on the hog to respawn all the time. Though i must say that i always hated getting run over by ghosts

This may be a little off topic, but does anyone out there know what the heck that object is underneath silent cartographer? It seems to be some sort of strange building but I can't really get a good look at it. All I can see are strange lights. Does anyone else know what Im talking about? Inquiring minds want to know.

M6D Pistol - $190
BR55 Battle Rifle - $320
Halcyon-Class Cruiser - $198,783,189,420.92
Taking out an entire Covenant Armada all by your lonesome - Priceless
There are some things marines can't do.
For everything else, there's Master Chief.

I think my best memory was the first time I played Halo period.. It felt so strange to be playing it. I couldn't figure the controls out and got eaten alive there at the beginning. Its crazy to think back and realize that was almost 6 years ago(I came in about a year after release). Wow, well time to have a drink in celebration

If I don't see you, good afternoon, good evening, and good nite.

My favorite campaign memory has to be beating the Maw on Co-op with my friend. We were trying and just couldn't figure out how to beat the time and how not to die. We weren't that good, but we somehow got to the final stretch where you can't drive the warthog anymore. We're running straight for the Longsword. My friend is taken down by the special ops Elite and I start weaving in and out to dodge plasma fire. I only have one bar left and no shields. I'm going up the ramp and I'm still weaving. I weave off the ramp and have to go back a few feet and go up it and once I hit the top and the screen flashes white, I get hit by a plasma bolt and my body falls, but it still counted and we watched as the Master Chief took off and cheered hysterically after beating the greatest game ever. For a side note, this was our last run, because his mom said five more minutes and it takes 4-5 minutes to reach the end so it was that much more epic for me and my friend.

In multiplayer, my favorite memory has to be learning about grenades. I was sniping on sidewinder, greatest Halo map ever, and I ran out of ammo for my sniper and I didn't have any ammo for my other weapon either. My brother has an Assault rifle and just starts owning me and draining my shields. I ask,"What do I do?" My friend responds, "Pull the L-trigger for grenades." I chuck a plasma and it goes way short, but I adjust and plant one right on his foot. He soars into the air and I go get a health pack and more ammo at one of the bases and I knew about grenades then.

My best SP memory was when I first played Halo, co-op legendary the maw with my friend. It was probably the best game I had ever played.

My best MP memory was when I was playing on BG with 1 of my friends and 8 AI Spartans on each team with Rockets, CTF, Rocket Hogs, Chaigun Hogs, and Scorpions, that was probably the best game ever. Soo many explosions.

Don't feed the monkey!!!!

Playing on legendary for the first time and getting my butt kicked. MP trying to convince my best friend's wife to play multiplayer with us. We were playing a shotgun no shields game, and we told her we wouldn't shoot her, but she could shoot us. The first time she got a melee kill, she absolutely loved it and was hooked. Still to this day it's my favorite game and play it more than my XBOX 360 games.

Posting on bungie.net should require that the user has had to have read a chapter book all the way through.

"Do you think it's because we're awesome? I think it's because we're awesome."

"Man, you're camping my only spawn point? Who made this "Infection" gametype? I'm like a fricken ant someone threw into a spider farm! Except one of the spiders has a tank!"

multiplayer: i pawned these 7 dudes. it was 6/7 but my team except one other dude. everyone else was gone from their cp's. it was hilarious. im used to vehicle takeout, it was team slayer, and then kept stealing our banshee, and scorpion. it went up to 25 kills. they had 9 kills, 3 were from my deaths, and 6 were from my buddy. everytime someone came by in a vehicle, we each threw a nade on them (unlimited nades) the other team was like "HACKERS!!!11111" it was hilarious, the game name was batman's island, at bloodgulch, my username was link back then, and the host of the game was of course batman, he called me a -blam!- and i went and whiped out his base while my buddy sniped.
