Sometimes when I look at the moon at night, my mind embraces the thought of a love so vivid and true that I almost believe it is real. Then, due to my delusions, I am forced back into reality and begin to indulge myself in real life vices such as chocolates and German board games to get that once natural high.

Any time I get jouer Halo 1 Legendary avec mon ami is a good memory pour moi.

I started off playing Halo at my best friends home Killem Joe. He said dude you have got to check out this new system and game I just got its called a xbox and Halo... So I went to his house " Got owned " but loved the game. The next week I had my own copy of Halo and a xbox at my home playing the story line and battling the flood.

Then the fun of lan partys came into my life! I think those days was the best part of Halo. The smell of pizza in the night air, a living room full of teenagers and the look of your buddys face after you just owned him on a unbelieveable snipe. Back in those days I went home Black and Blue from some one punching me in the arm after a great play cause they was in striking distance.... Today! Well that just doesn't happen does it. I guess with progress we lose some of the fun that come with simplicity and I don't won' t to take away from bungie or microsoft for given us what we have now ! Just thinking back though it was the best time I ever had with my friends!

Oh yeah I still have my original copy of Halo Combat Evolved

Wow its hard to belive we have been playing this game for 8 years now.

Ahhh yes I have many good memories of Halo:CE. I remember all the LANs my friends and I would setup at our school. We would play for hours and have a blast playing CTF on Blood Gulch.

I have to say the Campain really captivated me as well. I was hooked after the first mission and have been ever since.

When I saw the opening screen.
It was like coming home....
Oh, but I was playing PC one time and I got a running riot in blood gulch with a shotgun...Oh the curse words being typed at me.

Cricket

I remember my very first thoughts when I was watching the opening scenes of the game with my dad.

*Keyes shows on screen*
"Hey look, its the leader guy!"

*Sees various vehicles*
"This game looks hard"

*Sees Chief*
"Hey it's that guy on the cover!"

*Sees Cortana*
"WTF NUDE"

*Receives the Pistol*
"WTF NO LOADED"

*kills first grunt*
"THIS GAME IS AWESOME"

Assault on the Control Room is my all time favorite Halo campaign experience. Countless hours I spent on the vast level. I still play it, years later and 2 games later.

The multi player experiences I've had since Halo: Combat Evolved don't even compare.

hmm. best ever halo memory. hard to say. i would say finishing halo 1 and 3 would be up there for single player. halo 1 because it was a sense of wow. that was the best game i've ever played, and one of the few i've ever finished. halo 3 because i finally finished the fight.

a really good recent memory that will likely stick with me is participating in the 7 billion kills challenge. going through the same levels over and over doing the same thing gave me an idea of how hard bungie staff work to make these great games.

couldnt really say any specific multiplayer experience. most are great.

one of my more interesting memories-finishing halo, eventually getting online to check out here and other halo sites, and finding out that the pistol was a god weapon. I played through the entire campaign with an assult rifle. never let it go. and then i found out it was about as effective as a hose. made the campaign memories that much more specal given that i'd unintentionally handicapped myself.

My best memory of CE was when I killed my first enemy. It was an elite with an energy sword. Ahh....that satisfying pistol kill......... =)

Halo 2 was the first Halo game I got.. But man, killing grunts on that was still just amazing.

I remember going to Halo 2 parties with my freinds. We had like four, and then they said wow, Halo parties are ghey. And honestly, I don't think we've had so much fun in a long time.

I remember playing on Containment with all fourteen of us, playing to 200 kills. That took forever, and I was yelling at my freind the whole time to stay behind me or hide in a corner and assassinate people. :D He sucked then.

Man, that was fun. Now they all think they're too cool for the best game around. :/

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC
