Multiplayer is always the site of the best memories. Anyways, here's mine:

CTF BG and it was 4 to 4, I was Red if that matters, but the guy with my flag was driving away in a Warthog and I had a Rocket Launcher and I was on top of my base. I shot a rocket at the entrance to the Blue base (front) and it hit just as the guy was walking in. Then I switched to my Sniper Rifle and kept taking them out as they went for the flag. The flag was eventually returned and me and my partner won the game. It was INSANE. I couldn't believe it happened. And as usual I was accused of cheating cause I got soooooo lucky.

My best moment would have to be, when 6 of my friends decided to take me on, in a game of custom sniping at sidewinder. I was keeping up but having trouble even with so many targets. I was making my last stand and managed to get trapped by a couple guys at the bottom of the blue tower. I was in my room and they were all in the living room. I could hear them talking and new they were all standing outside of the two doors. I heard one of them say "Im goin in" . we were at 50 percent health and no shields. When Joe came in I popped him in the head, and threw a frag out both doors, and snagged my last 6 kills all in one foul move. It was a glorious moment, and I will not soon forget it.

My first memory of me playing halo is when i smashed an elite against a wall with a ghost, Another memory is when i was playing with 2 of my friends and one of my friends was playing for the first time. My rookie friend was says: Hey I survived!, when my rocket hits him in the back of the head. One last one is at a LAN my brother jumped of a ledge and onto a rocket, he was trying to "Rocket Surf"

5 years man... Did I miss out on something when i was 9? 'Cause that must be when it cam out. Geezm it seemed like just last year. Well, my best memory would have to be hanging out with 2 friends from down the block and just kickin' back and playin' team slayer all day and night. They used to wipe the walls wiith me, but i finally got better, and now it's even competition. I guess it turns out they were some "cream of the crop thing", because now whenever i play against another person, any other person, i stomp 'em. Pistol, bam, headshot, next. Guess I'll have to get used to a different gun in 2 though. Whatever, you get good at what you get good at.

I guess another memory wouyld have to be installing the old Myth 2 game, and finding an ancient Halo trailer, where the graphics were old, the sky was grey, and Master Cheif was standing next to a prototype Warthog. Cool stuff.

5 Years man...

hmm...my memory...
cant remember what month, i know its the year 2001 though.
at the time i was on vacation in delaware with my family. one day we all went to the mall to do some shopping when my uncle said to me: "hey kevin, (i was 12 at the time) lets go over to E.B. games and buy an xbox."
well in a matter of minutes we soon found ourselves browsing through the Xbox section of EB. I have heard of the game halo a while back, and told my uncle that Halo should be the game to pick up. He bought the xbox, Halo, and 3 extra controllers. about one hour later, we came back to the summer house, set up the xbox, and played halo SP, on co-op. best time i have ever had playing video games. we also gave the extra two controllers to my dad and my other uncle and we had a Slayer match at BG. awesome.

oh the memories!
reminds me of that song. "memorrieesss, at the corner of my mind!" (if you've ever seen the movie Big you know what im talkin about)

Mine is when me and my bro was at a friends house who borrowed an XBOX and we wanted to play a coop. So we put it on heroic and SC. MAN DID WE HAVE FUN!

And the time when my friend (who has had the xbox since it came out) boasted that he was an excellent player and the best sniper ever. I have had the xbox since last nov. So in march i got a two way system link and i challenged him. MAN DID HE SUCK LIKE CRAP! all i did was play on legendary, and he was still playing on sissy levels. (easy normal heroic.) He never played on legendary. But he has had it all this time...sob sob...so stupid

It was when my brother started to get "good" with the sniper rifle(around 2003), he was bragging how he had beat all his friends and that he could take me any day. So, I said, then let's see how badly you get wasted. He just laughed and said I didn't have any practice so he would own me. So, my brother got into his camo spot, pulled out his fully loaded sniper and made the mistake of shooting at me AND missing while I was looking in his direction. I pulled one of my "in your face" plasma grenades and shot him with a rocket. I then got in my old supa spot and shot the -blam!- out of him with my sniper. Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam! "Sucka!" I didn't miss a single sniper shot that whole game and every one of them was a head shot. It was a 50 point game, and it pissed the hell out of him when he saw I hadn't died once on the post carnage game report. He challenged me to a rematch with only plasma guns. He knew that those were the ones I never used, (except the grenades), and he was right. He got a few kills off until I finally realized the full potential of the plasma rifle/pistol. He, he, he.... Good times. That was when I learned how to sharpshoot with the overload shot. Before, I had to be within 20 feet to hit them. Now, I can hit anyone at maximum range for the overload. It was also when I learned that plasma rifles slow the -blam!- out of people. Overload, rifle ownage. He was really pissed when I won that game too. So, he challenged me to a pistols only game. Needless to say, I own3d him in that too. He just threw down his controller and told me to -blam!- myself.

First time playing halo: midnight at my friend's house, all lights off, he makes me play 343 Guilty Spark without any warning of what was coming. I get very into video games, and when the flood first bust out, I screamed. Loud.

aahhh..so many great memories of halo to recollect. My favorite would have to be when i got myself ontop of blood gulch for the first time. I was one of the only people in my area who could do it. I felt so cool showing all of my friends how to do it. Second would be in sidewinder when i got a jeep ontop of the level. Third: Beating every level of Halo on every diffuctly.

lol i was only 10 when i found out about HALO.

The day the xbox was released it was a normal school day.

My mate and i alwasy used to go to his uncle's for tea, we knew he was getting an xbox but i liked my ps2 and was not interested...

We got to his house took our shoes off and walking into the room. There on the TV halo has on one of the outdoor levels...

My jaw dropped to the flaw, i said to myself i have never seen i game that looks this good!

I watched my play on it for an hour then. when he but the controller down to eat i picked it up and had a 10 mins blast. 1 Word game to mind Amazing.....

It was about 6 o' clock and we went with my m8's mum to pick up his xbox that he pre-orderd...

When we got to the store Halo was there saying coem and get me :( I had no money....

I wanted to steal my m8's xbox....

My best memory was when I first got Halo from my grandmother (Who didn't know that it was a first person shooter and was highly disturbed by the, lets say, "content"). My nephew was alos their for my birthday, and as soon as the guests left the house, we started playing co-op in easy. He asked his mom if he couldn't sleep over so he could keep playing Halo with me. It turned out that he stayed at my house for 4 days in which we did one thing: Halo.
Glad it was vacation so we got the chance to end the game in easy before we went down to some serious splitscreen Chiron-TL action!

My memories of Halo started all the way back on my 12th birthday in February 2002. I came home from school on a Friday to only see an Xbox and two controllers in my living room. I got all excited and decided to open up the videogames. At the time, I had three games and when I saw all of them, I was thouroughly dissapointed.

I only got: Tony Hawk, Fuzion Frenzy, and another old game that i traded in. So, it was safe to say that I was heart broken at the time because I didn't have Halo which my friend, Allen, had been drooling about ever since he got it Christmas. I never played it with him, but I heard his stories and saw the screenshots on Gamespot.

So, to contine my story, We went out to Media Play and bought Halo. My friend Dan (who also never played Halo) came over and we both played Single Player on co-op....on Easy.
At first, I thought the game was crap , but then I went to the options and inverted the controls. After that, it turned out to be a very great game. I think the first night we played all the way to 343 Guilty Spark (mind you we both sucked really bad back then).

After that, I didn't play Halo for a few months because I was not a videogame guy at the time, I was more concerned with other things, but eventually, I got a taste of Multiplayer in my spare time. It was Gulch, Team Slayer, Warthogs only, 3v1. Me, my friend Steve and Dan against Allen...We got crushed, 50 to 21.

So, I quit, after being humiliated terribly for about another four months, until March 2003, when I heard Halo 2 was going to come out (yes, I heard the news a half a year late). So, I became an instant fan and decided to finish the Single Player game and beat all the difficulties. I did so by myself in about four to five days. It was awesome.

Then, I became absorbed by the internet in the Spring and Summer of 2003, watching the Halo 2 announcment trailer and the Halo 2 E3 2003 Demo trailer constantly and talking on the gamespot forums about all that crap ( Remember, back then, I thought it would come out Christmas 2003).

After I got passed the beginning of the Halo 2 hype (which still continues) We finally got to gether a 3v3 LAN match (a big match at the time). We only did Team Slayer until it got bigger, so we had absolutley no strategy whatsoever. We just killed each other. Allen would usually take 1st with about 30 kills on his team, Steve would take 2nd with about 25-20 kills, I would take 3rd with about 15-20 kills and Dan and all the other guys would finish behind us. It stayed this way for a while until we bought more controllers and got more friends together on Fridays. After that, we moved to Capture The Flag, which got really fun and really interesting. And that'd be our ritual up until nowadays, but it got better.

Around November of 2003 when bungie said Halo 2 was going to come out April 1st, 2004, we decided to do a 6v6 at Dans house. Needless to say, it was a success. With four TVs, 4 Xboxes with 3 one each one, 5 boxes of Pizza, and about 100 cans of pop, we had a very good time.

After that, we moved to online games with Xbox Connect. Allen came over one day and installed it on my PC and he and I played with 6 other guys online. We were definitley noobs at the time and got our asses kicked...I also started to go under the alias name of godfath3r at that time. So, over the time of December 5th 2003, to September 6th 2004, I have improved by an honest 40-60% in skill level, while gaming with my friends sometimes, and kicking Allens ass now. We still do this alot to this day (even though we now go to different schools).

So now you know my life long Halo story. Im still a fanatic of the sequel and the original ( as a matter of fact, I have been playing just the level Silent Cartographer on Legendary constantly for the last day and a half (just the storming the beach part) and every time I lose a bar of health, I start over. It really tones your skills for you). I cant wait to get my hands on Halo 2, and I cant wait to go dual on someones ass. So there you go. Peace and see you all in 62 days when I play till 3 in the moring on Novemver 9th, take off November 10th by skipping school and having Veterans Day off on the 11th as a National Holiday.

See you soon on Co-op Live and Multi Player Live...

I hope this pumps you up.

5 years ago i was a hardcore into playstation 2, and I had most of the FPS games that were available: Quake, Red Faction, Turok and so on.. Until one day i thought: what the heck...might aswell get an Xbox, and after playing Halo i have never played a FPS on my PS2 again.

My best memory would have to be clocking the game in legendary mode, and RUNNING RIOT in multiplayer.

See you all on November 9th.....

first time playing HALO
Thought it sucked didnt want to play it anymore

Maybe half a year later
Played again, it was pretty damn fun!

Every Lunch hour at schhol
Every lunch, went to my friends to play the game, found out my favourite level was AoC and i was hooked. I remember these brilliant battle scenes with elites charging, ghosts exploding, scrapnel flying andwraiths shooting. It was MAGIC.

Finally BOUGHT game
Played it and loved it...

Intoduced to MP
OMG got raped

Learned the awesomeness of the pistol
Finally realized the weapon of choice was the pistol and started to become a better, smarter more experienced player

LAN
Started haveing LOTS of LAN parties. I ranged generally in the top three in tuff compotition with my good friend Ray. However, i learned to wield the pistol like no other and slowly moved ahead of my friends fighting under the name they all hate, PieFresh...Still closely followed by Ray however, i usually won at all game types. Proudest moment was when we finally got 16 players organized, 4 tvs, 4 xbox's, 16 controllers, system link, router, 4 halo games, it was BRILLIANT. Most intense thing was 16 plyr Prisoner Rockets followed by 8v8 CTF BG.

Tounriment in local mall
I payed five bucks to enter. About 30 other ppl were in the tourni as well. I practised about two weeks prior to the tourni. First round....enialated everyone. I could not use my gamertag, and i was stuck with Shadow....The name passed around like a whore on Main St. The word was out and Shadow was a top contestant. Another name was out there as well....Second round: Failed to come out with a bang, and held on to first...but closely trailed but three others. 24-23...one more kill, BUT the guy with 23 stole my kill, and killed me to win. No worries, i was still in it. Round three: same senerio as round two, Hang em high. This time around, i destroyed all who stood in my way and brought my name back up to standards. Yemmen, was the other name floatin around. It was said to be down to yemmen and shadow in the finals. and it was time. Free for all, BG, Me, Yemmen and two others. Yemmen enialated everyone, including me, 50-29-?-? Now the final round between me and yemmen. Chillout 1v1. I LOST!!!! DOH!!! but i came second and it was so awesome, it took like 4 hours and i was so happy. won some money and a game!

been practisin ever since
Still can get enough, and my MP skills have ski rocketed even higher than before, I am ready for XBL ARE YOU? I am now a hardcore fanatic of H2 and am constantly on the B.net forums. Im 17 now and in my prime. Halo rules my life, and that rocks:)

PieFresh.
