Subject: How Door Switches would work in Forge

Ok, I don't know if this has been posted but I don't feel like checking. A simple, not too complex way to make doors with switches that would open them would be similar to teleporters. The "Switch, Door" would have a channel (0-10) and so would the Door/Window that would be opened by the corresponding switch. Doors and Windows with switches that you must use the action button to open would be interesting for Forge, and I'm sure many people agree with me.

But anyways, basically if you have a switch on channel 0 and a door on channel 0, when the switch is hit, the door would open. You could link multiple doors and windows to that same switch. I'm just bored so I came up with this.

Me and my friend had a similar idea although we never though of the channel thing. that would be effing amazing.

This would be SWEET!

Doors that open AND close though. Effectively changing how each map plays out depending on what doors are open/closed at that time.

Maybe they could find a way to apply this idea to shield doors and gravlifts/man cannons. I mean, it would be nice to be able to turn those on and off too. Just another option.
