Well being as they are relavant "word play" for their respective titles, no I don't think it's been over-used from an advertising standpoint.

Falls, is meant in both ways, as in the term Fall of Reach and falls into stores.

Drops - ODST's drop pod in, I see a perfect use of it.
Yes they can be similar, but not over used, no overused is the rubbish 118 ad which broke up Simpsons on C4.
Underused is the 118247 magical Trevor ad.
