Once you run imeadiatly out to the "store" and buy a cable modem check out the link above. It gives the incredibly simple low-down on how to set it up. You have to download Gamespy arcade and a tunneler, get a few ethernet cables (you probably have at least one if you have a cable modem), a hub (about $30), and of course an Xbox with Halo. Just connect the Xbox, the modem, and the PC to the hub and you ready to go.

Also, as Br3thr3n has so courteously pointed out, xbconnect canbe found here and tends to have better game play.
