Is there any way to have a update made that will detect the use of aimbots when playing online? It's pretty killing the game online right now.

Feel free to copy this post and give it to your friends:

The guy you're playing against isn't botting.

Bungie will not update the game concerning anything to do with aimbuts, it's apparently an arms race they're too lazy for, considering its been out for 6 years, unsupported for 4 years (for the most part) and the only guy who still knows we exist is sawnose.

If you would like, go to haloanticheat.com and start using hac, but it won't detect anybody who isn't using it, no there won't be an update to incorporate it into the servers, and no you won't trick a cheater into thinking you caught him just because you yourself are running hac.

Nobody is killing the game, other than the annoying idiots (see: 90% of the "competitive" community and the kids that yell bot and won't shut the hell up because for some reason they think it matters if someone cheats in a game even though the accused is probably just the better player more often than not) who infest every online video game community simply because the disease spreads faster than regular good ol' fashion sanity and they seem to stay playing on the same game longer than the ones who are cool who just want a better ratio of neat kids to idiots and move on to a newer game with a bigger community.

End.

Um, you do know that video was made to educate normal players as to someone that is aimbotting right? So if you go into a game and think someone is, instead of screaming out "botter" for no reason and with no support you can be educated about it.

I actually know Pepsi, the one that narrated that video and he is a very good played. I also know some other players that are just as good if not much better. Some people are just very very good at Halo 1, lets face it, someone that bought the game when it came out has had 6 years of practice to play it.

Plus, back when that video was made, the aimbut was kind of rampant (like, 2006?), but I haven't come across one in ages, and if I have, it sucks ass so who cares. And I've regularly played in 1EV for a couple years, which was one of the most botter frequented servers because of bg sniper ctf and no moderation.

Too many people cry "bot" because they don't understand the lag in the game or they just suck and are whining. I get accused of botting and anyone who played with me would fine that humorous. I have played with some of the best players in Halo, the ones that used to run in the CAL and TWL leagues and those players are actually better then a bot.

If your getting killed by a guy that has a 10-1 kill ratio and is making consistent headshots its probably not a bot.

Using a bot must increase the amount of head-shots though.

I have a question in regards to botting in Halo 1 PC:

For Instance: One is dueling with an opponent. Suddenly tthe opponent's
weapon dissapears and their arms start flapping like wings as they float in the air.

No it's not a demon.........lol.

I'd like to know if this strange behavior is induced through the use of a bot.

that would be a mod. though sometimes when you're playing someone their weapon will be invisible but its just a glitch that rarely happens.

The strange thing is that the player is weaponless. Both arms are free and the hands begin to flap. As the hands flap the body is propelled upward.

This whole spasmatic episode happens for only a matter of seconds. But the player becomes an extremely difficult target to hit.

I wish I had a screen-capture of this strange behavior. When I bear witness to it again I will
attempt to capture an image.

It freaks me out.

I saw it again this time from a distance.

I know what the player's tag was.

It happens so fast.

I couldn't capture it........I guess I should've recorded the entire game.
