With B.B. gone, the passion of Bungie.net has lessened.

Personally, I hope they took it back to the Covenant Holy City, "High-Charity" (not too far fetched, since the Covenant ships that were at Reach probably might've tracked the Ascendant Justice to the Eplsilon Eridanus system, to get the crystal, or fragments of it... maybe one had picked up the Nuke as well). I'd just like to see that High Prophet of Truth bastard get toasted.

Although the NOVA would be more useful if it went back to an actual planet, rather than a space-bound city..... but still.

No way they took it back w/ em. One of their engineers probably disassembled it, put it back together, and got bored of it.

Covenant are in no way, shape, or form interested in Human technology...except maybe for Mjolnir armor.

It can't be that easy. I think it was left on Reach, and some of those damn engineers got to it. That'd suck, but still....the Covie bastards already have methods of toasting a planet without utiizing our "filthy" tech. Either that, or it blew, and Reach is even less than that which the Covie ships left it.

Just from the first few paragraphs of that last chapter in First Strike I think the Covenant homeworld has security way beyond our very comprehension.

No way the Covenant would just so happen to study an alien device at their homeworld. I think the Covenant would find out what it is before it would go off with how adaptive their engineers are.

First of all, I asked what you hoped happened to it, not what probably happened to it.

And maybe the Covenant didn't know it was a bomb... The Engineers are smart and not racist, so they don't think our tech is "filthy," and would analyze it without thought, so they might find out what it is, and disarm it. But we don't know if the Covenant were ever familiar with what Nukes actually were (they've probalby seen them go off, but maybe not the bomb itself)... they might just think its a small, quirky fusion reactor.

And sure, they have means of killing planets, but their means is nowhere near as efficient as a single bomb. They have to use volley after volley of plasma torpedoes, which, as Cortana said, uses a lot of energy.

Just my thoughts.

it would have probably stayed on reach and blown up the coveneant there cause the covenant want nothing to do with our vermin weapons.

........................?

I repeat, what do you hope happened to the NOVA. Stop saying what probably happened. We all have a pretty good idea of what probably happened. I was merely interested and curious in what type of answers there would be...

The Master Chief emerged from his code. After seeing his dynamically lit realtime shadow, he went back for 9 more months of development.

Behold the power of the Originals, the Gods Axeone-Neurone.

Then I hope it transforms into a magical bunny that kills all the covenant in the Universe with cuteness and ryhmes.

I hope and I think it was a dud. A weapon of such power would be abused many years after the war (if we survive that is) ad it is not practical in a combat situation, even against the Covenant. At least as far as I can see.

Very mature....

I'm starting to wish I was a moderator just so I could lock this thread (and I'm well aware of the fact that I'm replying to a thread I want to lock, so don't point that out).

Hey I answered the way your stated. You did not want what probably happened but what we wanted to see happen. Now my answer while not realistic is what I would like to see happen, because it would be very funny.

Giggle Pie

Mostly I replied because I could not take your complaining about how people were replying. We don't know exactly what happened so any answer is right until we know for certain.
